Best WWII flight sim around.
10 January 2015
Summary: IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey was by far one of the best WWII flight sim games I have have ever played, and although challenging at first, it was very fun and kept me occupied for many hours. Gameplay: At its core, this game is essentially the console version of the popular MMO for PC's titled War Thunder, which is also made by Gaijin games who co-develpoed this title. Controls on the PS3 (the one I purchased) were very well designed and not overly complicated.
Summary: Supplier shipped the game very quickly and arrived new and in perfect condition. Problem is, you have to go through all the training missions before you can get to the game proper. This is boring and if you fail to complete a mission then you have to keep going over it again and again untill done. All I want to do is play the game and have fun.
Summary: My 12-year old son was happy with the game. It is a little too violent for my tastes. However, ordering from Amazon was easy and the price was about the same as Wal-Mart; plus I did not have to wait for someone to wait on me.
Summary: the best plane fight sim i've found yet for the PS3, but it's also a great arcade game. i wasn't able to try the multiplayer because i don't know anyone that owns the game, and the public servers are ghost towns.
