Summary: Story: 5/10 - Not very interesting and it relies on fanservice often. Gameplay: 6/10 - Repetitive and frequently clumsy. Art: 9/10 - If you like anime, you will enjoy looking at these characters. Characters: 6/10 - Their personalities are interesting, but that's about it. There's almost no character growth throughout the game. Sound: 6/10 - Forgettable soundtracks. Enjoyment: 8/10 - I enjoyed the game for what it was.
Summary: My initial impression of this game was not exactly favorable, but after playing it for while, I really started to enjoy it, behind the framerate and other such issues lies a greatly made JRPG with humorous dialogue, likable characters, challenging enemies, and a lot of content to be explored.
Summary: I am so glad I only paid $15 for this game during Sony's Golden Week sale...it is so technically deficient that I'm surprised Sony allowed it through QA. I mean, the game is so simplistic graphically, and yet can only run at around 15 fps during gameplay? That's just embarrassing. I'm sure there is something to like in the game as far as characters and story, and I usually really like the style of the game, but it's just hard to believe that such a technically bad game...
Summary: First off..... If you don't like anime..... you shouldn't be here. If you dislike turn based combat..... you shouldn't be here If you think all games need to be super cereal and gritty.... you shouldn't be here If you refuse to play as female characters.... you shouldn't be here (and should probably stop being a sexist pig) If you only enjoy the latest AAA titles.... Don't leave before you tell me why you're here in the first place. For those still here....
Summary: Too bad I hate it. Going to get a lot of disagreements but... Battle is alright... got bored quickly. Played 1 hour. Camera is clunky, odd movements, really bad dialogue...TOO MUCH dialogue that bored me to death. Trying way too hard to be funny. "Woopsies doodle! I'm so omega cool amazing! I'ma Kangerroo!" Am I playing a game or watching Wow Wow Wubzy? Neptune is annoying. The main protag being the most annoying is a huge downside for me.
Summary: The graphics for this game are very disjointed. On one hand, the story animations are decent, using anime stylings that look great. On the other hand, you have the dungeon and battle graphics that aren't even PS2 quality, let alone PS3. The graphics (and more importantly the game speed) resembles a PSP game. The story is very cookie cutter, the humor isn't all that funny, To make matters even worse, I have a bug issue.
Summary: If you've played any of the previous installments, be sure to pick this up! Definitely lots to enjoy about from addictive gameplay to hilarious references. Characters look visually improved with added glow effects and such. Fans will not regret for sure!
Summary: Personally I thought MKII had good gameplay but not as good storyline as the first game. The first game had a fun story but not so good gameplay. I thought Victory had the best of both worlds. I also laughed the most. Game takes place after MKII and unlike the last game I would say play MKII before this one.
