Fun golf game for a break from EA's offerings
29 May 2014
Summary: I've always been a fan of the Hots Shots Golf franchise and this offering continues the tradition. Obviously not made to be as realistic as a Tiger Woods game, but the game play is not as silly as the characters. It does offer some "power ups" and multiple club and ball options to change distance, shot type, and spin, but it's done in a fun and not over-the-top way. Some of the characters are a little silly, but, who cares?
Summary: Been playing HSG for years.. Was excited to see it on PS3.. My most major disappointment came to the online play.. I play against other family members around the states and the downfall is NO CHAT!!! Besides that.. good game to kill time with still has returning characters and some cool new ones...
Summary: Having played both Hot Shots 3 and Fore on the PS2...and wearing out the latter, I was eager to get my hands on an inexpensive Out of Bounds when I finally got around to owning a PS3. Took a while...do to the popularity of this game STILL, but when I finally got it, I was slightly let down by the similarity in graphics between the last one for the PS2(granted I started using component HD cables) and the PS3 version. That is not the reason I take away a star however..
