Summary: I am a big fan of the Hot Shots Golf series. I have owned 3 games prior to purchasing Out of Bounds for the PS3. I have one for the PS2, and 2 for the PSP. While the graphics are really good on PS3, I would not say that they are a lot better than on PS2 and PSP. I like the new swing method, which gives you a more life like experience, but tend to fall back to the original. My biggest issue with this title of Hot Shots, is the online play.
Summary: hot shot golf, for those who are not familiar with the series, takes an anime-comical approach towards the players. i much prefer that to something like Tiger Woods which is too serious and you end up w/ strangely dead but, more realistic players. (guess that's a comment on all sports that try to be Real.) i have to agree with the other reviews regarding a lack of extras and courses. it is fun, but i wish it came with more courses and characters.
Summary: If you have played the previous hot shots game, then you pretty much know all about this game already. It is more of the same, that is not necessarily a bad thing, just a little redundant. There are many challenges in the game but I must say there was no originality to this game. The new "advanced" swing shot system really is not well done. I must say I stuck with the traditional swing mode because the new version was really not up to par.
