Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds (PS3) Review
12 April 2008
Summary: Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds is a great addition to the franchise, and is a solid addition to the PS3 library. I have very few complaints about this game, and you will find yourself quickly becoming addicted to this game.
Summary: Showcasing high definition graphics along with new, more accurate golf physics, Hot Shots Golf 5 offers up a new level of immersion to the franchise’s signature over-the-top visuals and pick up and play action.
Excerpt: with it, it certainly seems like the tried-and-true three-tap mechanic for setting a virtual golf swing is considered downright antiquated by some golf developers. Excerpt: We're never quite sure why it always takes Sony such a long time to release Hot Shots Golf games in the United States. In the past, typically a Hot Shots game would arrive in the U.S. about 6 months after being released in Japan. For this fifth iteration, we've waited a total of eight months.
Conclusion: Hot Shots Golf: Out Of Bounds is just one of those sports games where you don’t have to be a fan of the sport to enjoy. For those gamers looking for an alternative to the realistic Tiger Woods golf games, this is your game.
