Agent 47's Greatest Hits

20 March 2013
  • Excerpt: I really love the Hitman series. It's one of the cleverest games out there because it challenges you to think your way through sometimes impossible-seeming situations. Sure you can try and blast your way through a level, leaving a trail of bodies and blood behind, at least at lower difficulty levels. But the true hitman can infiltrate a high-security facility using disguise and guile, find and eliminate a target, and have nobody else even know what happened.

Hitman HD Trilogy

Cheat Happens
10 March 2013
  • Excerpt: The video game industry is currently infatuated with its own past. Over the last few years we've seen countless re-releases of entire collections of games released in previous generations. The latest to get the new paint treatment is the Hitman series from IO Interactive and Square-Enix, and while the games no doubt benefit from the touch-ups, some of the content - especially the earlier games do not hold-up well and as a result you're just reminded of the nagging issues...

Hitman HD Trilogy Review (PS3)

8 March 2013
  • Excerpt: I don’t have much spare time to review video games but when I was offered by the good people at GamingShogun.com the chance to review the Hitman HD Trilogy for PS3, I gladly accepted and made time to dive back into the games that made me such a huge Hitman fan. Unfortunately, my joy quickly dissipated shortly after I began playing. Right off the bat, the Hitman HD Trilogy feels too much like an advertisement for the brand new, highly-anticipated “Hitman Absolution”.

Hitman HD Trilogy PS3 Review

4 March 2013
  • Conclusion: Hitman HD Trilogy Image © Square-Enix You must play "Hitman: Absolution," one of the best games of the last couple of years. It's great. After that, if you want to see how we got there, go back and check out "Hitman HD Trilogy" but do so as a window into the history of gaming more than anything else. IO Interactive and Square-Enix masterfully took what worked about these games and discarded what didn't when they made "Absolution.

Hitman HD Trilogy

Strategy Informer
10 February 2013
  • Conclusion: While the original model, texture and animation work of these three Hitman titles hasn’t held up all that well, the actual technical work done on this HD collection is solid. There’s widescreen, a higher resolution and undoubtedly a better frame rate than the original titles - and that’s the best you can expect without stretching to be more of a remake than a straight port. Three games in one place for a budget price is pretty good, too.

Hitman: HD Trilogy PS3 Review

Console Obsession
6 February 2013
  • Excerpt: As you can often see the evolution of the series, HD collections of games can be a very interesting thing. Take Hitman: HD Trilogy for instance, when played in the order that the three included games (Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money) were released you can certainly see the huge steps that developer IO Interactive made over time with the popular series.

“Vele uren old fashioned sluipen en executeren”

6 September 2013
