WORST BOWLING GAME EVER

LuvmyDog, Amazon
24 May 2011
  • Summary: We got this bowling game and even though it says Move Compatible, it does not work outside that mode. We do not own the Move and this does not go past the first screen no matter what we do. I was anxiously awaiting the game and became quite disappointed very quickly. Is there something I am doing wrong. The booklet does not explain how to play out of Move mode. I hope every game for PS3 that is move compatible does not work like this one.

Garbage...

Lee Thompson, Amazon
25 April 2011
  • Summary: Bought this for the PS Move expecting, AT THE VERY LEAST, that it would be as good as the WII Bowling. Well, guess what? It wasn't. The PS Move cannot track the controller on the back-swing. This is expected actually, given that the move camera needs to be able to "see" the colored ball. In the well programmed games (Sports Champions, for instance), the programmers have accounted for this allowing the controller to 'disappear' while keeping track of it's trajectory.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!

Angelo P. Quatrano III, Amazon
30 December 2010
  • Summary: I might as well have taken $40 and set fire to it. It would have been more entertaining to watch money burn than to play this horrible excuse for a game. The game play is terrible. If you are a fan of Wii bowling and you were hoping to find the same magic with this game you will be sorely disappointed. The characters aren't offensive they are annoying. Thanks so much Sony I love getting robbed it really makes me want to run right out and buy another game.

how do you play w/o move?

DVD Addict, Amazon
27 December 2010
  • Summary: My buddy got this, but we can't figure out how to play this using the regular controller. Every time we load it it goes right into move mode. I don't want to have to get up and pretend to bowl. If I wanted to really bowl, I would go bowling! Anyone HELP?!? We finally figured out what was wrong. I have a Logic Tech controller and the game wouldn't recognize it. The game will use the regular controllers, but you still have to use motion to play. Just not fun.

Waste of money

Brian Fleenor, Amazon
26 December 2010
  • Summary: This game is terrible. The Move controller is hardly needed for anything except swinging the ball. And when you do swing it, the motion is so incredibly sensitive you often get an error for throwing it too hard. Really? Throwing a bowling ball too hard? Bowler position, and 'aiming' down the lane isn't interactive at all. It's point and click. I was hoping for a full angle/aim/swivel/throw motion in a bowling game.
