Summary: For my review, I'll paste an (edited) version of a couple IM chats I had while trying to get into this game. 5/5/14: The game is a bold experiment, I guess. But the ridiculousness of the controls undermines the grim story.
Summary: I think this one of the most interesting and enjoyable games I have played. I love games that are story heavy and immersive. If it wasn't for all of the QTEs breaking the flow of the game it would be 5 stars.
Summary: I'm still trying to figure out why this game is rated so highly. Heavy Rain is a so-so story with little gameplay value. It involves walking around, opening doors, and doing other daily tasks.
Summary: I bought Heavy Rain after years of indecision - it dropped to a price that I thought was reasonable so I stumped up the cash and waited with eager anticipation. I received the game on Thursday, and I finished it on Saturday.
Summary: bought this game and started playing it for 15 minutes and it got stuck, had to reset my ps3. tried again and everything was fine until about 30 minutes later it got to the loading part where a face comes up in the screen and fkn gets stuck again!
"Interactive Drama" should be "Click-through Drama"

Summary: Pros: - Plot - Uniqueness Cons: - Characters - Dialogue - Button Sequences I'm normally a huge lover of alternative games, from Fatal Frame to Fallout. I thought I would love the interactive crime-solving aspect of this game.
Summary: I started playing this game Monday and I finished it Thursday. It's like a long movie with a similar storyline we have seen before. The question is, is it worth forking out 60 bucks for? I say no. You barely have any control of your character and this game is extremely linear.
Summary: heavy rain is not a bad game a good twist to the story but having been a gamer from the very beginning from the days of the Atari tennis in the late seventy's so I have seen this type of game before over the years time again so for me it's nothing new.
