Summary: I purchased this game based on word of mouth. I was a little disappointed and frustrated with my experience however. The game offers uup a semi-interesting story that kept me with it until a little over halfwa. Controls are pretty intuitive if not a little frustrating at times given how the fighting mechanics work in this game. You have three fighting stances that range from power, speed, and distance.
Summary: The game is OK to be one of the firsts to come out for the PS3, but i really hate how clumsy the combat is and how it sometimes has a lag-lik slowdown, on the other hand the history is not that great but the motion tracking and acting is fantabolous!!!
Summary: Heavenly Sword / 711719813224 / B000K9OP2A Disclaimer: This review is written for people who haven't bought / played this game but are considering doing so now that the game is older and slightly cheaper than the newest stuff out there. Thus, this is an "as is" review, not an "as was" review, hence the "retrospective" perspective. "Heavenly Sword" is a very pretty game, with an interesting setting and intriguing backstory.
Summary: I bought Heavenly Sword the day it came out. While at the time, it was one of the best games graphically for PS3, it definately did not live up to my expectations. The gameplay is repetitive and SHORT. The movies were pretty long and it did seem like we were watching a movie intercut with some short gameplay. The enemies were easy enough to pick up with a couple favorite combos, and the bosses were easy once you figured out the pattern to their attacks.
Summary: This is actually a great game. It has nonstop action all the way through. Unlike most games you don't bored doing the samething over again. If I had the oppurtunity to buy this game again i wouldn't. This game ends fast and is not worth the 60 bucks that you will pay for it. It's great for those long weekends that you sit and play. I would have rented it if i had the chance to. I hope this review helps.

Summary: An okay game that utilises the motion of the PS3's controller, (the Dualshock controller, not the more recent 'Playstation Move' accessory) in quite an entertaining way. In particular, there is a point in the game where you are required to fire arrows into charging enemies who are in the distance. You move the arrow through the air by tilting the PS3 controller, and watch as you guide the arrow in slow-motion aiming for an enemy.
Summary: I give this 3 stars as it wouldn't update on my PS3. When I press the "ok" button to update this game to the newest version, the screen just turns black and stays that way. This goes the same for my NBA2k10 game, so I'm giving this 3 stars as I think it would work, but unfortunately not for me. All my other games update fine, so I'm not sure what the problem is. If anyone can help me out e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Summary: For people who didn't follow the release of the current generation of Consoles, Heavenly Sword was a highly anticipated game that was announced around the time of the PS3's release. However, the game which had potential to be one of the greatest action titles of it's time falls short in every aspect. Gameplay: In Heavenly Sword you're going to be seeing a lot of Devil May Cry, God Of War, Bayonetta kind of action.
