Side quests make me want to stab myself in the eye
15 November 2011
Summary: I like this game but often get caught in a side quest which I can't get out of. This is so irritating. They are often extremely difficult and I have quit playing for months just because I was so terribly annoyed with the game.
Summary: Fun game. I love the castle, they recreate it well. But it's short. Took me about 3 1/2 hours to finish. I recomend the 5th (Order of Phoenix), or wait a while and try Deathly Hallows. Game shiped really fast! Great seller.
Summary: I got this new on Amazon for $[...]. While it's certainly not the most fun or enthralling game I've played, it's entertaining. The plot loosely follows the movie, but the main story is fairly short. The graphics are below average by PS3 standards, although the sound is decent. The mini-quests (gathering crests, potions club, dueling club, and quiditch club) add replay value. The in-game duels are fun, but the multi-player duels are awkward.
Summary: As a start, this was the first of the Harry Potter games that I have purchased. The free roaming game style was fun and easy to interact with. As a whole, the story mode of the game is short and relatively easy to progress through. The Dueling Club and Potions sections make the game longer and are fun to do. Overall, the game is not challenging but I did not purchase the game to be challenged. It was fun adn simple to play through.
Summary: It was rather suckish in my opinion. You duel, then you make a potion, then duel again. No real quests like in the others. You usually just end up doing someone elses homework (potion making) and then fight someone. Yeehaw.
Summary: OK, first of all let me say that this game is incredibly short. If you really tried you could beat the story part in 4-5 hours without much effort. The game pretty much consists of three "mini-games" that you must play to advance the story every now and then. Other than that it's pretty much just going from place to place (and some places can be hard to find and take a while to get to, more on that later) to advance the story.
Conclusion: Well, the biggest disappointment about this game is its extremely short length. It offers tasks to do, but the whole game revolves around three things: Duelling, Quidditch and making potions (Which is actually quite fun). The rest is just wandering around Hogwarts collecting crests. Overall, it's not the best potter game yet (Order of the Phoenix was better) but it's still enjoyable.
