Summary: This game was a little short since I beat it in two evenings, but it was tons of fun. Casting speels was fun and easy to understand and making potions was probably the best part! I just wish there was more of an open-ended feel where you could live at Hogwarts as a student and feel more of a part of the world rather than simply play through the story that most of us already know.
Summary: Since I somewhat enjoyed Order of the Pheonix when I played it in 2008, I had my hopes up for this game. After owning this game for 3 days, my expectations were surpassed. I love the gameplay and one of the things I LOVE about this game is that Hogwarts is right there in all of its glory. Almost every place and detail is included in this game, from the Boathouse, Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts itself, etc.
Summary: The story mode for the game is very short, only took me about 4 hours to finish. The dueling club added very little challenge to the game as it was very easy. Potions and flying were also fairly easy but trying to get a five star rating for your potions making or flying ability, in my opinion, made the game more fun by adding just the right amount of difficulty without becoming frustrating for a casual gamer game.
Side quests make me want to stab myself in the eye
15 November 2011
Summary: I like this game but often get caught in a side quest which I can't get out of. This is so irritating. They are often extremely difficult and I have quit playing for months just because I was so terribly annoyed with the game.
Summary: Upon playing the game, al gore mysteriously appeared at my home and informed me that playing this game had stopped global warming in my area. He informed me that the air now had no carbon dioxide and in fact was nearly a fire hazzard because of the 79% oxygen in the air. Flooding in the area was stopped and no bad weather was occurring except the ideal amount of rainfall. And strangely, after the first rainbow, my car ran infinitely on just 3 grams of kitty litter.
