Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (PS3)
27 July 2011
Excerpt: From escaping Gringotts bank to fighting off wave after wave of death-eaters, there is some fun to be had in the last chapter in Harry Potter’s epic journey, if you don’t mind a bit of repetition along the way. If you were at all disappointed with The Dealthy Hallows part one, you will be glad to know that EA Bright Light heard the cries of fans and gamers alike and produced a far more enjoyable end to this legacy of movie tie-ins.
Excerpt: Okay... if you haven't read the last book or seen the current film at the cinemas, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 than this game will probably spoil it for you. Then again, a true Harry Potter fan would have already read the book and seen the movie. So obviously you are a Potter fan and given these facts, the latest movie was very cool and here's hoping that EA's game, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is not just a movie-based but in actual fact a...
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Review - PS3
10 April 2012
Summary: Harry Potter games have seen tons of changes over their 10 years of development. The first game in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was released way back in 2001. It received a low response from the fans as it gave a cartoon like feel. Since then EA made tons of improvements, and the result is in-front of all of us, recently titles in the franchise are gritty and dark, there has been a radical shift in gameplay.
Pros: Graphics Visual and Character likenesses of the actors, Fast paced gameplay
Cons: Repetetive and very Dull gameplay, Campaign length too short only 4-5 hours, Very little replay value
Conclusion: As for tips and advice : Petrificus Totalus is your long-range attack; Stupfy and Confringo are probably the most effective when breaking through the hoards of Death eaters. Part two has also introduced the ability for Apparition, however is only really used as a way of getting in and around cover during fight sequences. It also comes in pretty late in the game to be ever fully utilised. In terms of overall gaming this one left me feeling a little underwhelmed.
Review-PS3: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
3 April 2013
