Summary: A great idea... with some mistakes. We meet much party games, really much, Mario Party, Fuzion Frenzy for example, but all with themes for kids. Hail to the chimp is different, the principal themes are for adults, and is a good point. The mini games are funny, but are most funny when you play with other people, the graphics are very regular, some characters looks horrible. The story is good, and have a great development.
Summary: I picked this up back when it came out in 2008, and I have to say, it aged well. When I get filled with rage after playing an fps, or just want to have a good and fun time with friends, i pop this in the ps3. I haven't played much since i beat it shortly after release, but ever so often i like to replay a now classic. A must have for the price, and a good game for laughs.
Summary: Monkeying with party games seems to be the trend with developers but so far, few are making their mark. Hail To The Chimp is yet another release that, while fun, is forgettable. With politics as a backdrop, animals like a monkey or a hippopotamus, each with a cynical personality, vie for the top spot as head of the animal kingdom.
Summary: I really don't like to complain but this game's messed up controls, broken interface and wonky mini games make this game a real pain in the... actually it's worse than that so never mind. I seriously don't know why you would waste **** bucks of your hard (or not hard earned) cash on this stinker. The only thing in this game is mini games. It's a party game but if you put this game in THE PARTY WILL END.
Summary: Hail to the Chimp will have a love or hate impression with gamers and therefore if you can play the demo on PSN it will help you decide. Basically this is a party game which revolves around a TV station broadcasting an animal presidential election. The votes depend on how well you score in various rounds of similar themed games. Each game takes place on a small arena where you collect clams. The twist for each game is dependant on what you do with the clams afterwards.
