Summary: I was so eager to get this because I love to play the drums, but once I got it all connected and played them with the game I was a little disappointed because you cannot adjust the sound of the drums very much. The songs are always way over powered by the singing and guitars....
Summary: This is the second guitar hero system that we have purchased. The first was for a WII, this one for PS3. In both cases, the drums have malfunctioned. The first time one of the cymbals stopped working and this time the foot pedal malfunctioned as one of the wires came undone. The game itself is lot's of fun, but the quality of the drums needs to be improved.
Summary: After realizing this wasn't available locally any longer we were happy to find it on Amazon. The price was great, so we ordered it. Was initially disappointed that it did not come in the consumer box but instead in a plain brown box. This wasn't stated anywhere in the description. Obviously not a huge deal but it was a Christmas gift. After assembly there was no sound when hitting the symbols.
Summary: I bought this game even after reading all the reviews on this site. It arrived in 2 days, faster than I expected! After playing the game for 2 days the red drum stopped working. I have since called activision who have agreed to replace the entire drum panel BUT I had to leave them my credit card number to charge me 29.95 if I dont return the drums. I am happy so far and I will wait to see what happens next.
Summary: First of all, Guitar Hero World Tour is a great game if you play alone. It is not really good when playing as a band; one person make a deadly mistake and the whole band got boo'ed (the song will end). But when considering that this is the first Guitar Hero that offer a band play, it is alright to give Activision some time to make an improvement.
