Summary: This toy is not a very good translation of "Guitar Hero" into an LCD form. Nobody expects an LCD handheld to have everything the full game does, and there are many ways they could have made this a fun game in its own right, but they just didn't succeed here. The timing on the pulses is way out-of-step with the audible beats and riffs of the song.
Summary: First off let me just say I'm an avid Guitar Hero fan and love the franchise, with that said, I have to say DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME! The songlist is awful, the gameplay is off even after calibrating. The challenges are the only redeeming factor. The fact that you can import songs from World Tour is a plus but unfortunately its only about 20 of them and they arent even the good ones.
Conclusion: discusted that we have to pay such a high price for games we purchased for the ps2 and were never added to the ps3 (60gb first models) play list , should have been a download pack for world tour.. total cash in... the songs and downloads on rockband continue to get better and better and a much cheaper price...
Summary: This game some may think that having dragon force is great which i have to agree is pretty good. but to say its called greatest hits the setlist is aweful. There are so many other songs to choose and yet they still chose to ruin the game by having this setlist. I am still a rockband lover and always will be until guitar make a good game.
Summary: I was so looking forward to the release of this game as I've got all the others and quite enjoy a little bit of rocking out in my own home but I could not have been more disappointed! You CANNOT play this game without added instruments which you are NOT warned of on Amazon's website nor the game packaging its self. I have to ask what is the point to selling this game solus if you still have to buy separate instruments???
Summary: Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE BUY THIS GAME!!!! Unlike the XBOX 360, PS2 and Wii versions which work perfectly, the Playstation 3 version is so frustrating that after 45 minutes I've repacked it ready for return. NO matter where you buy this game, it WILL NOT BE IN SYNC with the video or audio. I know this because i have completed the all the games on expert on PS2, 360 and Wii. The fault is entirely with the game and controller, and effects every product.
Summary: This game is a massive let down and I have just returned my copy. The game itself is brilliant but it is rendered largely unplayable by the multiple issues with the controller: 1) The wireless conection can be laggy and will sometimes drop out. 2) The strumbar will sometimes not register, and other times will register twice - making sustained notes fail. 3) The tilt sensor is badly aligned (or too sensitive) and so star power will trigger when you don't want it to.
