  • Summary: Nice, interesting, worth the money spent, but I expected some more. I may recommend it to a friend, but not to everyone.

Overall, pretty good

Avraham Szajowitz "abe lincon "gunman"", Amazon
19 March 2013
  • Summary: The game graphics are great and crashes spectacular!! Only downside is limited choice of cars. I definitely would recommend this though dont expect the amount of choice in vehicles like in forza or gran turismo.

Jiles larsen, Amazon
15 February 2013
  • Summary: fun game no problems with order. Only unfortunate thing is that it's not playable online anymore for playstation 3 but it's a fun game not too serious and not too casual.

Good

Gustavo Beltran, Amazon
13 February 2013
  • Summary: Had fun playing it , it was definitely harder than the ones that I had played before because this is more realistic as far as body damage and wrecks and the amount of life's you get in a game

Great Solo-Play Racing

Lisa Shea "be the change you wish to see in t..., Amazon

  • Summary: Grid is a racing game for the PS3 which features high-realism graphics and cars that can be damaged in a vast number of ways. The drivers even react to your racing style. I've played a wide number of racing games over the years. I love them. Some are arcade style where you use walls like redirection tools and the other cars are more like bumper cars. This is definitely NOT the case in Grid. You tag a wall, and your door dents.

Close to Perfect

C. Lambeth, Amazon
20 November 2011
  • Summary: Hands down, my favorite PS3 car racing game is "Grid" by Codemasters. I have loved all the Gran Turismo games except for the über annoying license tests and robotic, predictable AI cars and inability to damage your car. GT5 finally solved the latter problem, but the license tests, while modified to be less annoying qualifiers, are still there to frustrate racers (especially if you're not that good -like me-), and the computer cars/ drivers are as predictable and as...

Good While it Lasted

BostonSoxFan3, Amazon
18 September 2011
  • Summary: I bought this game about a year ago. It was the best game I had ever played and I played constantly. The best part was the online play, but now the network did not renew their contract with GRID so you can no longer play online. It's a real bummer and I hope they get this corrected because I really miss this game!

Loads of fun

29 January 2011
  • Summary: Great menus, terrific variety of gameplay and racing disciplines, something for everyone. Great sounds. The engine sounds of the Porsche at Le Mans is unbeatable. Simple game to play but a lot of time to master. I didn't realize how much I liked drifting until I got this game. The damage modeling is supurb. Great value for money.

Great game even if the career mode is average

Amy Nace, Amazon
6 September 2010
  • Summary: This game blows any other racing game out of the water. No game can match the damage, sensation of speed, and fun online play. PROS -Cool cars to choose from (even the new Camero/Challenger and F1 cars) -Great if you like a challenge -Great set of tracks -Online gives this game 5 stars -Damage is forgiving enough so u dont have to worry about destroying your car when you have a simple accident -Damage can be done to the steering, suspension, transmission, and engine...

Outstanding race game

Greg H., Amazon
3 February 2010
  • Summary: When GRID was released in 2008, it had some serious competion for PS3 owners looking at racers. At the time Gran Turismo 5: Prologue had just been released a month earlier. Xbox 360 owners weren't as fortunate. Other than Forza 2 and Project Gotham Racing 4 there weren't many other worthwile racers to play on the 360 then. GRID never got much media promotion and was seldom advertised.
