Summary: I was so excited about this game. When I bought and played it... oh well... the excitement turns fast to disappointment. As an avid tennis fan, there are so many thing gone wrong in this game. Seems like the developers dont know much about tennis, sadly. The slice shots are not slice, every player keeps going to the net (when was the last time you saw Chris Evert approach the net 30 times in a set at the French Open???
Summary: Absolutely no fun. The main problem is that it's pure serve and volley; you can't construct points, because before you know it, your opponent is at the net, and you just pray your passing shot works. Or, you can cruise through yourself by coming in, and that's EVERY point. And EVERY pro player. Yes Borg and Evert came in quite a lot compared to today's game, but on every point? And I do mean every.
Summary: Got the game today on it's release date and I'm not too happy. My overall impression of the visuals are good and the way EA sports try to make the controls innovative but I'm not impress. The game-play is ultra boring because the shots are so soft and just no pace to them. If your style is a baseliner then you will really hate this game because it forces you to come to net to win points.
Summary: ....kein Game Set and Match!
