A nostalgic essential
17 January 2013
Summary: If, like me, you grew up regularly watching the two Ghostbusters films on VHS cassette, watching The Real Ghostbusters on TV, and maybe even running around the house wearing one of the those plastic proton packs that fired a cylinder of foam, then this game has been custom-designed for you.
Summary: A 3D Ghostbusters game with the original cast voice acting! This was going to be almost as good as a new Ghostbusters film! And In many ways... it is. A great game if your a ghostbusters fan. As soon as i got to the controls and fired my first shot from my proton pack I was hooked. How Amazing! Nostalgia does not come any closer than this. Laying traps and catching ghosts, whilst trying not to cross the streams of course, Is as much fun as can be had with any video game.
Summary: We have had our Ghostbusters game for the PS3 for about eighteen months now and I have played it on my own more times that I care to remember and I have also played it with my little lad. He is a big fan of the hit Film and that is the primary reason we bought this second hand from Game for about £12.
Summary: Bought this to play with my girlfriend as we're both fans of the film. The game follows on from the films with the same characters reappearing and being voiced by the same actors too which adds to the overall feel of the game. The controls can be cumbersome at times but if you're a fan of the films this is a must have game.
A must for fans of the films, probably a miss for others.

Summary: In my opinion and from everything I heard about the development of the game, this is effectively Ghostbusters 3. The original cast did not want to make a movie, so they came together to work on this. The creative process involved Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd and all the main cast members from the films reprised their rolls (even down to Walter peck and Janine Melnetz).
Pros: Great for fans of the movies, Authentic Ghostbusters world to play in.
Excerpt: "The Ghostbusters game is a game to buy more for a fan of the films. Original cast, original writers and original genius. If you are expecting the same humour used in the films, you won't be disappointed. This game has a brilliant storyline and the game play, although a little hard to get used to, is good. You can expect the same comic genius coming from Bill Murray reprising his role as Peter Venkman and Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson ...
Summary: I bought this game last year, I think this game is ok not the best but not the worst and it is a bit too short. It was a little rough about the edges but was scripted very well and the humor was good at times.
