Summary: After playing this game I wonder what the developers were thinking half the time. The graphics were great prolly some of the best I've ever seen. The game play could have been a lot better. For one thing it would be nice to know where your going half the time or to see the enemy behind you so you can prepare for an attack. The controls could be somewhat better. I move left and it goes slanted to the left or right.
Summary: I'm sorry, but those that gave Genji anything above 2 stars are either the game's developer, or haven't played many games. The story and graphics are the only salvagable piece of this disaster scene, and you don't get to enjoy either very much. Imagine with a stuck, fixed-camera and only having 3 moves per character, and you get this poorly designed arcade style game. It isn't exactly a side-scroller, but it might as well be with the confined spaces and blind spots.
Summary: I'm a fan of hack-and-slash games, and normally I'm not too picky. But trust me, don't buy this one. This is a lot worse than Genji on PS2. The first one is pretty decent game, but this one on PS3 sucks. Awful camera angle makes it hard to fight or even spot enemies or the place you need to go and you can't control the camera. Movements of the characters are hideously slow. They replaced the Kamui counterkill to some button combo which is not fun to use at all.
Summary: Genji was this fist Game I bought, played, and traded in at my gaming store. What an honor for this "feudal japan" game. It's Pros are few and superficial and it's cons are many and tremendous. the first and biggest problem I had with it was the fixed non rotational camera, A beheading offense. It also left so much more to be desired, in level design, character design and all around cliche-isms. You have you're plucky, young, crazy haired hero.
Summary: Whoa iam very surprised by this heaping pile of plastic. Get call of duty or something else. The graphics in this are very ps2 ish. Controls are good, sound is ok. I just dont think alot of time went into the game..
Conclusion: As a fan of the original Genji on PS2 i was very dissapointed with this title. The camera angles are teribble & half the time you dont know who your fighting or where your going. Game play & controls are RUBBISH, one of the worst if not the WORST game in my ps3 Library.
