Must play for fans of the book and TV show.

abag , GameStop
10 June 2014
  • Summary: The game clearly feels rushed at times with unforgiving combat, glitchy graphics, and sometimes terrible voice-acting. Despite all these shortcomings, the story is its one saving grace. Taking place during the time period of the first book and season of the show. It features a story that is hard to not recommend for fans of the show or games like Dragon Age. It might not have the best combat system, but if you persevere and put strategy into your actions.

  • Summary: so far i have just played about 8 hours, and the plot is very good i like the work they did linking it slightly to GOT universe, but the gameplay is not very good or challenging, any way any gamer fan of GOT must play this one

Actually Really Fun

Cola Beaker, Amazon

  • Summary: This game is an RPG based on the Game of Thrones fantasy world. I will open this review by saying that I don't have any experience with the books or television show associated with this. But the story in this game, while it does reference some things from the books or TV show, you don't need to know about them in order to understand the game's story. It does a good job of informing you about who everyone is. The game's story is fantastic.

Game of Thrones for PS3

Kathleen Garmsen, Amazon
5 October 2013
  • Summary: While the artwork pkg is nice, would have rather been able to purchase the game without all the "extras", but could only find it this way. But since it was a gift, it worked out nicely.

  • Summary: The only problem we've had is the writing on the screen is really small. But other then that, the video game is really awesome.

A game of Thrones a Tactical Intrigue game...not an action game!

Milton H. Birckhead II, Amazon
28 March 2013
  • Summary: I enjoyed this game but I must give the caveat that I love almost anything "Game of Thrones" related. I enjoyed the books, the television show, the living card game and the tactical board games (Battles of Westeros). This game gives a look to a time period in the first book of the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R R Martin and for what it is ,it is quite good. If you are looking for an action packed hack and slash game then that is not what you will find here.

A bittersweet experience

Carlos Molina, Amazon
5 February 2013
  • Summary: As G.R.R. Martin show us in his world, this side story show us the worst part of Westeros, masked in a facade of chiavalry code and honor. Besides the games sidetracks in some parts (specially when you have to choose one of the heroes), and is filled with bugs, it's a nice gameing experience.

Very Enjoyable

GJMJ, Amazon
10 January 2013
  • Summary: At first I was hesitant to buy this game based on some of its earlier reviews but now I am glad that I did. The game is set in Westeros about the same time as the events of the first book/season of A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. You first play as a member of the Night's Watch station at the Wall in the far frozen north.

Great Game for Game of Thrones Fans

z36, Amazon
14 December 2012
  • Summary: Play along with the Game of Thrones story from the top rated TV show on HBO. Now people should not think you are going to play a Skyrim game. The game is not a hack n slash RPG it is a "active slowdown tactical combat engine" what ever that means. The fighting system is not the greatest and is hard to work sometime. The storyline on the another hand is very good and has twist and turns. There are also cameos from Cersei, Varys, and others.
