Like Super Contra but far from a PS3 game...
23 March 2010
Summary: It's like Super Contra in 3D. You have to shoot almost everything and you can play with a partner. WHAT I LIKED - Many characters of GI JOE come to life in an environment loyal to the franchise (many laser guns, robots, high tech...) - Good replay value with many difficulties levels. - 20 USD is now a fair price. - Good sense of heroism and action within missions. CONS - Characters too small, even after changing some settings. - Can't control the camera.
Can be enjoyable, but definitely not for serious gamers

Summary: Actually, notwithstanding the previous reviewer's comments, you *can* switch targets by using the *right* analog stick to toggle between targets. You don't get visual crosshairs, but that works (and yes, it's in the instructions.) But the other reviews are right about the lack of camera control and the sometimes dumb camera angles, and the lacklustre graphics (not much better than one would have expected from a PS 2 game).
Summary: i'm freely admit i'm a GI JOE fanboy, so keep that in mind when reading this review. i really didn't know what to expect from this game. trailers aren't always indicative of actual gameplay and the videogame community seemed bound and determined to hate this game before it was even released and without even playing it, but i took a chance and bought it anyway. what can i say, i'm a fanboy.
Summary: When you are used to great games with nice graphics, this game is a bit deceiving. The story is very linear and the movement are limited. They should have done a first shooter kind of game, it would have been better...
