Excerpt: Flock! Is a game that wants to be loved. The quirky art style and annoyingly catchy theme tune make for a great first impression, the kind you'd expect to have of a game from Capcom. This XBLA, PSN and PC game isn't quite the puzzle game it could have been though, let down by some less than perfect controls, problematic physics and some basic design flaws. At a high price of 1200 MS Points/£11.99, are these issues enough to veer you away from the buying herd?
Excerpt: Every so often, a game comes along to present an amazingly simple yet fresh idea. Usually one of two things happen, it either becomes a runaway hit because of how well its mechanics work or it is forgotten because, in spite of everything it did right, there was one huge fault that nearly ruins the game and everyone passes it by. Unfortunately, I feel that Flock is in the latter category and it is a downright shame.
Summary: Flock! was not a game I was expecting to love, but I did and do. From it’s look to it’s play style, Flock! is a charming game that will live on my PS3 hard drive forever. Rarely does a game exceed my expectations, but Flock! did so in spades. For a classic, old school game with modern graphics, drop the 15 bones and pick up Flock!
Summary: In Flock! you take control of a UFO that has been given the challenge of herding farm animals to its mothership through a variety of puzzle-filled physics-based interactive levels, including corn fields, pastures and other “plushie”-like environments.
Conclusion: Flock's single-player puzzles are fun while they last, but around three hours after your first successful abduction you'll almost certainly be finished. That lack of solo longevity, along with the limited multiplayer mode and unwieldy level editor unfortunately make this quirky and entertaining puzzler a tough sell at $15.
Pros: Plenty of variety, Smart puzzles are satisfying to solve, Great style and vibe, Constantly rewards you with usable items, You can share custom-created levels with other players.
Cons: Annoying pathfinding issues, No online multiplayer, limited local co-op, Inelegant level editor.
Summary: You can diminish almost any game to a laughably low level by reducing it to its bare essentials: Harvest Moon's focus is manual labor, Brain Age is portable homework, and Animal Crossing is about paying rent. These games defy their lame concepts and successfully maintain an interested fan. Similarly, while herding livestock may sound like a thankless chore, Flock's delightful style and brilliant puzzles will charm and engage folks willing to game outside the box.
Pros: Plenty of variety, Smart puzzles are satisfying to solve, Great style and vibe, Constantly rewards you with usable items, You can share custom-created levels with other players
Cons: Annoying pathfinding issues, No online multiplayer, limited local co-op, Inelegant level editor

Summary: Flock je velmi vydařeným titulem, který rozhodně stojí za to si za těch pár korun koupit. Kromě hlavní kampaně, kde naleznete desítky připravených levelů, nabízí i precizně zpracovaný editor, kde si můžete vytvářet levely svoje a poté je sdílet s ostatními hráči. Odpověď, jak vlastně létající talíře vypadají, je na dosah a každý si ji může prohlédnout.
