Summary: I liked how I could redeem amazon gift card credit for this instead of using my credit card but it comes in a giant box which costs a lot to ship. I think I paid $5 for shipping when it could easily have shipped for the price of a stamp.
Might get to play it sometime. Have to call Support!

Summary: Got the game for Xmas....haven't played it yet because I cannot. After a 2 hour download on the ps3, then I have to set up a Square Enix account. So I put in my info on the computer.....then it says it has sent a code to my email. I have to log off my ps3 and check my computer...when I do this....it resets everything on the ps3 and the code is useless. Okay, so I try to register on the computer. NOW it wants a "token" one time code.
Summary: Let me first of all say that its a great game, loved the graphics, the main story line, the innovative controls interface and the emphasis on team play. However, I have to warn you that there is an online subscription for this game and the online payment management system is absolutely rubbish.
Summary: I love mmorpgs, and admittedly I'm rather a fangirl of the Final Fantasy series. I even bought a PS3 to play this game on! However the controls and user interface was so complex and awkward on the PS3 controller, not to mention the fact that other online players frequently thought me too arrogant because I wouldn't be able to reply them while playing at the same time (have you tried typing in chunks of text using the PS3 controller, or ANY controller in general?
Not Worth the Monthly Fee: Great Potential but Shockingly Flawed

Summary: I don't normally write reviews on Amazon; but because I have some strong opinions about this game I thought I'd share my thoughts on it. To start, I preordered a copy of a Realm Reborn and started playing it with the early launch, but as of yesterday I have decided to cancel my monthly subscription before I waste any more money on it. Simply put; to me it is not worth the monthly fee.
Summary: Seems SE has fallen into the MMORPG rut that WoW, Rift, LOTRO and every other game that I have played recently looking for that new original wonderful game that will sweep me off my feet. So far, it seems I will never find another. Every game has copied so much of all of the other games out there today that you're basically playing the same game, different look. I was hoping that being pay to play that FFXIV would meet some of my expectations.
