Summary: "Make like an arrow through time and speed your way to Serah." Its lines like these that keeps that copy of FFXIII on my shelf dusty and untouched. Only reason why I still have it is because no one wants it. The graphics and lovely, and the gameplay is alright. Not the best I've played. But what makes this game absolutely irredeemable is the soundtrack..ugh. FFX-2 all over again, with embarrassing electronica and j-pop. THE VOICE ACTING. GOD. WHY. JUST WHY.
Summary: The graphics met my high expectations, but the storyline did not. It was confusing and frustratingly linear. The game does not let you explore like the previous ones do. I also could not relate to the characters. They were too abstract and ranted about ideas like "hope" and "fate." (One of the characters is in fact named Hope. Oh, irony.) I expected to attempt battles multiple times, but the set difficulty level is absurdly high. Square-Enix can do better.
Summary: I PLACE THE ORDER ON OCTOBER 16 FOR MY BROTHER'S BIRHTDAY AND ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER NEVER GOT THE ITEM. THEN I CONTACT OVERSTOCK AND THEY PLACED ANOTHER ORDER. THAT ONE CAME 5 DAYS LATER. SO, IF PEOPLE IS BUYING EXPECTING THE MERCHANDISE TO ARRIVE ON TIME. I DO NOT RECOMEND IT!
Summary: As a fan of Final Fantasy games, I had high hopes that this would be a great game. When I first played it, I was amazed. The graphics and soundtrack were probably the best out of any game I have ever played. However, by the time the main characters were introduced, I was already bored. The game had a lot of potential, but did not deliver the full experience that I look forward to when I play a Final Fantasy game.
Summary: Incredibly disappointed. I read all the reviews, listened to all of my friends on the game- and still I thought my opinion would be different and I'd be a good game. I bought this when it was new, and was incredibly upset. I forced myself to play until I just couldn't anymore. I ended up trading it within one week. I didn't like the "you have to do this, and do that" part of the game. All the prior games allowed you to move freely and go about the game as you wish..
Summary: okay I love Final Fantasy games there my first choice of game to play But to express my passion for Final Fantasy number 13 is not the one.....I would recommend Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII..... Final fantasy 12 alright but the other are way better....okay Final Fantasy 13....Square Enix what were you thinking making this game. All you cared about was the graphics and forgot about the true part of final fantasy..
Summary: Well what can I say about this game? It has the most amazing graphics of any game I have ever played. But at times in the story line I had got lost even at the end of the game I still had questions of who was this and how did that happen. the battle system I will not lie it's kind of boring I found myself waiting for the next cutscene and avoiding battles. They never give a clear picture of what is happening the intensions change every other chapter.
Summary: I can see why it took so long for the game to be finally finished—the graphics and the worlds are very well done. But, the story was not a great one to go with the worlds, in fact, I thought it was very stupid—making the art of the game go to waste.
