Summary: It is amazing that Square has made it to 13 games in this series. I'm happy for Square, and I believe that the press has been well deserved ignoring the flop of X-2. However, releasing this game and the previous XIII has felt like an insult to my intelligence. When I play a Final Fantasy game, I expect it to be a game where I have to think about my next decision. In this game, all of that is thrown out the window.
Summary: Feels more like an expansion pack than a new game. I paid $30 for it and it might be worth that. The Good: Pretty graphics. The Bad: Re-used content from FF13. I ***HATE*** the clock anomaly puzzles. More so the ones that keep changing on you. No Haste? No Eidolons? That's what made FF13 good. A step backward. After this one, I'm done.
Summary: ...this game starts off pretty clever, but becomes less clever as time progresses. After getting over my initial prejudice against this game (which included a test buy that was returned in a day), I decided to get down to the business of actually playing this game. At first, I was very pleased with the effort.
Square insults fans with troublesome ending and rip-off DLC

Summary: *POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD* The gameplay of Final Fantasy XIII-2 is somewhat improved over its predecessor, but the narrative suffers greatly in the process. Monster catching had potential, but didn't quite live up to what it could have. The battle system itself is relatively the same, and often just comes down to hitting the X button over and over again with little input from the player.
Summary: Im not gonna lie, this sequel was actually ok compared to FFXIII itself which was the worst final fantasy game i have ever played. and i've played I, II, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII and many other varies spin off's. VI, VII and X being my personal favorites. Story/Plot: Time travel? Really? i don't wanna spoil to much but thats a move you pull in the 4th of 5th installment of direct sequels...
Summary: It takes all the best parts of FFXIII, eliminates them, and let's you play as the most annoying character from XIII (Jailbait). There is a saying in SciFi - once you introduce time travel, you've jumped the shark. This game is not the exception. Characters from the last game make appearances, most of which make little sense.
If you were a fan of the old Final Fantasy, this Sucks.

Summary: It is ridiculous what they are doing to this franchise. I enjoyed these games as a kid and cannot get into these at all, XIII was way better than this. Yeah this game opens up more, but it sacrifices everything else, mainly the story, which is why I play FF in the first place. I'm selling it back to Amazon. The music is horrible, the story is horrible, the story actually makes me laugh. Asia hates this game, look it up.
