Summary: First I have to say I am not reviewing the game but I am reviewing the "limited edition" part of the product. This package DOES NOT include the sound track, it only has a card board sleeve that house the game and Novella booklet. I don't think there is a DLC included within but I am not planning to find out. This is not 1 of the 3 collector's edition that you get from Best Buy, Amazon, or Gamestop.
Summary: Although the game fixes some of the problems of the original like the linearity of the story, it creates a whole bunch of new ones in the process. Improvements: -New character is likeable -Non-linear story -Able to tame monsters -Able to switch leader mid-battle deterioration: -Uninteresting and generic plot -Graphics appear as if they were downgraded for some reason -Only able to control 2 characters unlike the 6 in the original -No summons -Bosses are way too easy...
Summary: I actually enjoyed XIII, along with pretty much all of the other Final Fantasy games, but this one was absolutely terrible. It seems to me, to sum it up, that Square Enix simply tried to pander to what they thought their target audience was and failed gloriously on every single level in the process.
Summary: To start, this game had me hooked, beautiful graphics, fun combat more exploration. But something felt amiss and it was the story, and the characters. For starters as I'm sure you've already read somewhere, this story is a incoherent mess. I really tried to like it, but it never grabbed me like the final fantasy's of old. There was never a real epic feel to anything, on the basis of time travel.
Summary: One of the worst games that i have ever played and i have played all FF games. This FF game is the only game in the series that im against (along with the online crap). I couldnt even bring myself to finish this game (felt super in-complete with only 2 super boring characters and the worst storyline ever). I hardly recommend playing this game, although FFXIII was a decent game, this one is terrible sequel.
Summary: Stay away from this game if you like anything from the following: Good Gameplay Interesting or Well Told Story Characters who won't make you want to pull your eyeballs out of their sockets and drive screwdrivers into your ears. Simply put this is one of the worst entries since.....well since FF13.
Summary: This game has some serous issues with pacing and story, not to mention a lack of interesting monster design and boring environments. Could write a whole lot about how it's not worth the time or money, but it's not even worth going into it that much. Also, way to charge for DLC that should have been in the game. A third character who is a person? That's worth money!
Summary: Been addicted to Final Fantasy games sinxe FF7 on the first Playstation. Sadly the last great game seem to have been FF10, I haven't completed a game since then due to my losing interest before I get to the end. This one was so poor and confusing I gave up after an hour. If it has a story it never got around to sharing it within that hour. I have no idea what was going on with the battle system. It's done one thing, it's cured be of buying future Final Fantasy games.
