Great Graphics and Music But That's It Really For The Game

Summary: While I'll give EA kudos for the graphics and effects in the game the overall annoyance at the complicated and glitchy controls really lowers the enjoyment too,so much that I just removed the data from my PS3 and resold the game to someone else. It's not horrible persay but EA makes it unnecessarily complicated like when in a fight it's hard to tell sometimes when you've dodge a punch and other times being hit by one when you think you've dodged.Unless playing online the...
Summary: Pros: great graphics. Cons: main menu hard to navigate, Online game play is straight garbage. full spectrum punch control doesn't work. story mode is stupid, terrible plot and just not interesting (maybe if you could make choices to kind of write your own story...just a thought). since the punch control just doesn't work you have to button mash which will make your fighter punch and punch and punch you get the picture.
Summary: OK, where do I start imagine this, its the 8th round, up to this point in the game you've beaten your opponent to a bloody corpse, you've knocked him down just about every round, your up on every judge score card, and now you find your self pounding him again, so bad that all the backround noise stop, he starts to back up, he's about to fall again and hopefully for the last time, then all of a sudden he becomes the best defensive boxer in the world, blocking every punch...
Summary: Always been a fan of the Fight Night series, but am very disappointed with this release. Until EA makes an effort to actually re-develop this game I'm saving my money every year and just throwing in an old edition of the game if I need my boxing fix. What I did not like: - Controls, buttons or stick, have poor response.
Summary: The Champion mode actually does a really good job of outlining the strengths and weaknesses of this game. Strength: 1. Lots of time spent on graphics makes this a beautiful looking game. 2. More emphasis placed on footwork and head movement 3. Movies during the Champion mode gives the game lots of action 4. Unique boxing styles with more work put into making each boxer look like himself Weaknesses: 1.
Summary: This game is a study in opposites. The content is decent, and the storyline is predictable but still crafted pretty well. I loved the ESPN integration and the voiceovers. The cutscene voice work was good too, although the characters are pretty much from Central Casting. Again, predictable but still well worth the cash. Technically this game is a trainwreck. PS3 media load times are horrible. Controller response is horrible.

Summary: Been playing boxing games since the 1980s & i have to say that 'fight night champion' has to be one of the worst computer boxing games i have ever played. Let me explain. When i first seen the game i was blown away by how 'real' the graphics looked, but soon after playing the game for the best part of two weeks or so i found the gameplay was just'not there' and to be honest with you, when i put it to the test, the game seemed very rushed in terms of how it performed and...
Summary: I've been a fan of the Fight Night series from its 1st incarnation and even possessed a copy of each of the previous EA Sports Knockout Kings boxing series. And this is not the first time I've been disappointed by an entry in the series but I usually got over it accepted the gameplay. The latest entry overall just plain sucks the big one.
