Summary: The developers say there are over 250 "improvements" in the latest edition of FIFA, but you won't notice even 5. What you will notice are the glitches that make your gaming almost unbearable at times. For example during aerial through balls, either attacking or defending, the user-controlled player "crab walks" and loses sight of the ball, thus giving the advantage to the opposite player.
Summary: FIFA Soccer 09 - Hours of entertainment on an intense, nearly 100% tactically customizable world of soccer. If you're all about making the gameplay unique, this is the game for you. Some background - I've never been a hardcore sports video game fanatic, but I always enjoy playing them. I started out with the original Playstation and have stuck with Sony's systems from that beginning. My most recent FIFA games were both 03 and 04, so this was a big step up from those.
Summary: FIFA '09 isn't a game of revolution but evolution. Anyone who played FIFA '08 will be right at home with the interface and graphics of the game but discover changes upon diving deeper into the game. The graphics remain largely unchanged from FIFA '08. To it's discredit EA hasn't improved visuals in the stadiums and has neglected several larger venues altogether, instead opting for generic backgrounds.
Summary: You are able to jump straight into this game without any prior knowledge or experience of the EA FIFA titles. In fact, the last FIFA game I played was 'FIFA 1998 - Road To World Cup', on the SEGA Mega Drive I believe! With many game modes and challenges to complete, this game certainly keeps you entertained and you feel a paralleled progression between your team and yourself throughout a season.
Summary: It's some improvement from the FIFA 08 version in concerns of graphics and KI (could still be better, though). About all the additional stuff that EA has obviously put lots of efforts in (e.g. online update of player's sttistics?), I am not really convinced. But regarding the core features: I like it.
Summary: they should have more variation on the stadiums because that can make some of the games feal a bit repatative.in the uk they should have gooodison park villa park upton park stadium of light croke park ibrox and celtic park if they had those on fifa 10 it would be really good.don't forget to post a comment
Summary: This is a very highly addictive game but it still has its fair share of problems that are not a big deal at first, but become very annoying the more you play to keep it simple these are the pros and cons about the game. Pros: graphics improved, gameplay slightly quicker then fifa 08, great presentation and music, Commentry good, great dribbling system, online play better then before, manager mode has more features, players make better runs, better finishing, excellent...
Summary: Hey all! I got this game free with my PS3 and thought that it would only be temporary before getting pro evo as I have always been a lifelong Pro evo fan! However, I have now decided to stick with this game until the new pro evo is out.. Why? Because it has some great gameplay, with you controlling everything! Players make runs and the movement is good.. Also they have many many different leagues which make it exciting and lots of teams to chose from!
