Impressive for a short while... In 2 weeks you'll get bored.

Summary: Fifa 09 has a very good visuals. The gameplay, like all the other soccer games, is something you need to get used to. I don't know why can't developers make it more user-friendly and simple. Instead most of the time you will be frustrated with terrible passes and poor defending. In addition you are required to learn some moves and strategies in order to succeed in attack or in any basic part of the team play.
Summary: The only reason i got this game is that it was part of a bundle, the game looks incredibly slick, great work by EA on that front. Sadly, this game, though initially fun, is a triumph of style over substance. Passing, shooting, in fact any of the staggering array of button combos available, either don't seem to work so well, or happen a good few seconds after you wanted.
Summary: If FIFA 09 came out as the first ever FIFA, it'd be legendary - lots of modes, great graphics and sound etc, and people would forgive the gameplay for being slow, slightly clunky and not much fun at all. Sadly, as it's about the 20th version (and having played the original FIFA International Soccer on the Super Nintendo all those years ago), you wonder why or how on earth they haven't ever managed to get the gameplay right.
Summary: I have always been a fan of PES(Pro EVOLUTION Soccer) so i was just looking for something else to play with,i'ts a nice alternative to Pro Evo,with it's accurate player stats and kits and the league update mode is a nice idea, but for me personely the game is not a touch on Pro, but for the price i just saw it as a bargain at the time.
Summary: It seems a recuring theme almost that PS3 games have more left out. Every title lately seems to be shorter and less featured that its predecessor. Fifa is no Exeption. The thing that bugs the community most is the inability to edit kit numbers. So you buy you star striker, and he ends up wearing the number 2 shirt. The messages during the saeson are sparce. No more news paper headlines (5 game winning streak etc) Only ever see a headline when you win something.
Summary: I have bought both games, and I have reviewed PES 2009 (look for dentistTubster). I cannot be bothered to review Fifa, but here is roughly what I think: - There are about 3 different ways to score: 1) The through ball/lofted through ball followed by a tap of finesse shot if the keeper stays back, or a chip if he comes out. 2) The set piece option - corners, free kicks and penalties.
