Impressive for a short while... In 2 weeks you'll get bored.

Summary: Fifa 09 has a very good visuals. The gameplay, like all the other soccer games, is something you need to get used to. I don't know why can't developers make it more user-friendly and simple. Instead most of the time you will be frustrated with terrible passes and poor defending.
Summary: If you want to "Play" a game, buy something else. If you want to dump $60 on something you get to watch EACanada "Producers" play a game for you, and try to guess which amazingly unintuitive seriese of buttons you need to press .7 seconds BEFORE the sim plays out on screen, then...
Summary: In my opinion this game is ok, but not nearly as good as it's reviews. I though the uefa euro 2008 game was better than this one, but I prefer the game play of pro evo 2009, even though that game does not have all the bells and whistles of this game.
Summary: Fifa 09 was a big disappointment, the camera is bad, is to easy to steal the ball, its seems that EA has focused to much on the goalie and not enough on the players. Also the players don't play as a team the game lacks coordination and anticipation from the players.
Summary: Some really cool enhancements in this years version, no doubt about it. However,i think the offensive side of the game has taken a step backwards. Shooting, crossing and heading the ball is now so ludicrously difficult that it ends up being really frustrating experience.
becoming a fast favourite, for the boys and girls in the house!

Excerpt: I love football, and as a girl, do pretty well for myself...I know the offside rule (and can make a reasonable 'interfering with play' argument with the best of them) But I suck at football games. I dont know why...actually i do...I keep forgetting to swap players!
Summary: The only reason i got this game is that it was part of a bundle, the game looks incredibly slick, great work by EA on that front. Sadly, this game, though initially fun, is a triumph of style over substance.
