Summary: Got this as a freebie on the PS3 and I do enjoy some football games but this is not foe me! *basic controls are too compact and awkward to pull moves off *I tryed this on medium yes medium and failed to even score I keep on losing the ball every five seconds because simple of the cpu of rubbing the difficulty up.
Excerpt: "Fifa has always been the football game that we all buy, but I think its starting to become old news now. Every time there is a new Fifa out, everyone rushes to the store to pick one up, but to be honest all that's changed is the name! £45 for a repeat of last years game is a rip off. I always used to be a fan of fifa, and i still am, I just think they need to think of something new. Its fun to play, but i get bored so easily. The online head ...
Pros: Head to Head online games, realistic game play
Summary: Every year I buy both Fifa and PES, awaiting the arguments that begin for both sets of fans. I bought Fifa first, put it through and yes it was a brilliant game, graphics great gameplay seemed good enough (for now) and obviously having up to date teams and original shirts is all good.
Summary: In my opinion you are much better off spending your money on Pro Evolution Soccer. I am afraid I cant speak very highly about Fifa at all in comparison to Pro Evo. I know a lot of people out there love Fifa and think its amazing, I strongly disagree. In terms of gameplay Pro Evo wins. In my opinion the game itslef as a whole Pro Evo gives you a much more realistic and better feel or the beautiful game.
Pros: Large team selection enabling a huge amount of play time
Sorry but most people have just listened to the hype.

Summary: This is an unbiased review as I have always had Fifa games and only once bought pro evo 6 (FIFA 07). I have to say that I was completely suckered by the hype that came with this game when I bought it in December 08. Everyone said, in magazines, the internet, friends, that this was the best Fifa yet, with unbelievable realism and gameplay and content that completely trumps pes.
Summary: As a football video game fan of over 20 years (from Sensi to Kick Off to Fifa and PES) I've felt compelled to write a review of the game that has been awarded so many stars and sells in such big volumes (though I believe one of the main reasons for this is the brand name). Now I have to put my hands up and admit that, first and foremost, I'm a PES man but even I can appreciate that it's fallen a little by the wayside over the last couple of years (though 2009 is a vast...
Summary: I last played Fifa in 2001 on a ps2 and loved it (and was pretty good at it too I might add). Blimey how its changed. Look, don't get me wrong, super graphics and a zillion options but try getting stuck in to a simple game and you'll get walked all over. The practice area consists of just you and a keeper, thats it...mmm not really helping with the passing or tackling skills.
Summary: I cant beleive that all the hype and great reviews this game got in the press how basic it actually is... Players near the ball (when the ball is not controlled by anyone)seem to to run around like headless chickens... Due to the passing all being controlled by the power bar trying to attempt a very quick pass or through ball doesnt work. The game play is ok but seems rather slow and labourious and the Menus are over complicated..
Summary: I had great hopes for this game, especially following on from so many positive reviews. Sadly the game doesn't live up to this hype. The game sadly is terminally infuriating and with in 4 days the issues made it simply unplayable. The games AI is very poor, players show extremely little awareness of the events around them and do not react to even the simplest things.
