Summary: Fifa 08 is a very good game. I sold my Fifa 10 (very frustrating, especially w/ foul system) and traded down to the closest thing to Fifa 07 which was this. At first experience playing on semi-pro level, it was very difficult to score goals. However, over time I got experienced and it wasn't difficult for me anymore. Keeping it short & simple. PROS: Excellent graphics, Good AI, Ability to manage finances in Manager Mode (not avail. in Fifa 10).

Summary: This is the best FIFA Soccer game yet - the graphics are wonderful on a 1080p DLP TV and the presentation, licensing, is top notch. Gameplay is much improved, although I agree with several previous reviewers on two very important points: 1. When defending, all you can really do is run alongside the ball handler and try to pressure him off of the ball. That's it.
Summary: This is by far the best FIFA game I have ever played, and trust me, I have seen them all. The control stick and new features are amazingly good, making this installment of FIFA the most solid and fun to play with. Still, this is no Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution Soccer. The gameplay has been improved but it is still its weakest area. There is always some lag when trying to put together a few consecutive passes and strikes.
Summary: I really anticipated this game as I am a huge football fan .I also own all the past games in this series. The anticipation was in how this game would look on a next gen system.I must say I was disappointed by the graphics as I was looking for so much more detail. It was like looking at a upscaled version of 07 . The gameplay was ok , what I really liked was the ability to execute tricks in the game .The game also presents more of a challenge .
Summary: Compared to past games, this is the best EA soccer game. I have purchased this game since PS1. I also have played soccer since I was 5. A+ Be a pro mode is awesome. Pick one player on a team and go. It is just like being on the field. One on One while waiting for the game to load - AWESOME. Graphics and Sound MUCH better. Movement on the field - much better.
Summary: This is a very good soccer game. i play it with a full hd lcd and the graphics are really good. i love to play with the pro trainer mode where you only play a single player that you choose from the team. i must also warn that in order to really control the player in the game you need a lot of practice. It is not easy to make the moves you want with the controller. There are so many moves. Overall it can say it is a must if you like soccer.
Summary: After the latest versions of fifa i was getting really dissapointed at the franchise, but after Fifa08 im getting my hopes up again. A lot of different game modes, the be a pro mode being the most revolutionary addiotion, and its also a lot of fun to play. The menus, music and overall presentation has improved greatly, as well as the AI, except for some details where the NPC's do really weird and incohernt stuff, but it doesnt bother me as much as it did in previous Fifa...
Summary: FIFA 08 has lived up to my expectations. The gameplay is fantastic on the PS3 platform, and i like the additions of the various skill moves. Step overs, juggling, first moves, passing to the furthest player etc are all great features. Another fantastic feature is the "screensaver" that comes up while the game is loading, where you can use Ronaldinho to improve your skills one on one with the goalie.
