Summary: Ordered this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He had 3 games on his list to go with his PS3...had to oder this one because it isn't to be found at any stores. It arrived very quickly! Between GT5 & Ferrari, he'll be busy during the off-season from the NFL!
Summary: A lot of people say that this game is either too hard or easy but I think it's a perfect balance. the learning curve is a bit steep but one you get past that this is a very enjoyable sim. the selection of ferraris and tracks is awesome, more than 50 cars w the dlc and 25+ tracks. i completely recommend it to anyone especially at $13 brand new.
Summary: My review will focus on the handling and simulation aspects when used with a force feedback wheel. There are plenty of other adequate reviews about the gameplay, graphics, cars, etc., but what I was most impressed with is the flawless way it reacts with a force feedback steering wheel! I purchased this hoping it would be a fun game to play using my Logitech G-25 wheel and racing seat and let me tell you it is awesome! The simulation aspect of this game is nearly perfect.
Summary: I am a very honest fan of the GT series. I loved them all. I can't see paying the full price however for the gt prologue. If you are struggling with which to buy, and are debating between the two games, let me offer what I have learned. First off, the ferrari challenge game def offers much more in terms of tracks, and where it lacks in cars and graphical prowess it makes up for it for being quite solid gameplay wise, and I def think that I would let graphics take a back...
Summary: Flawed but Fantastic ... Was eagerly anticipating this game as it promised to deliver over 50 Ferraris to drive on fantastic race tracks around the world. Positives: + Realistic Handling. I own a Ferrari 348 myself and felt the handling was very similar. + Nicely detailed tracks + Decent (but not world class graphics) + Challenging to drive - there is a learning curve for all newbies but the rewards are worth it.
Summary: Ferrari Challenge is kind of like playing playing Formula 1 Championship Edition except that you are using only Ferraries. In my opion if you already have Formula 1 don't buy Ferrari Challenge.
Summary: The game is good, a change from the old standby of GT5:Prologue. Please note that the description mentions split-screen multiplayer, this game does not have this (has LAN and online multiplayer).
Excerpt: "...16 players. All in all Ferrari Challenge will give even the most experienced gamers a race to be tackled and the whole package is superb with everything you need in a racing title. At the price of £5 on average it cannot be sniffed at. Also on dooyoo ...
Excerpt: "If you have ever dreamt of challenging in the grand prix or contending in any formula one challenge, then this is the only thing next to realising this unfathomable desire. The cars here are not just some gummocks but they act as the will actually do when in real life situation. You can choose to start up with the tutorial mode which is an absolute necessity for starters. this is equivalent to going to a race school or better still a driving school. ...
Pros: I really love the online challenge mode and it has a pretty cool graphics and audio
Cons: If you are in for fun, then this is not for you and also the arcade mode is not upto expectations .
