Summary: When I played the first Farcry game on Xbox I couldn't believe what I just played. But when playing this I can tell where turning the other cheek. The story doesn't make much sense and the game has many broken weapons making it hard to kill enemies. Though the graphics and gameplay are good but when it came to beating the game it didn't had much enjoyment like the first one did. The multiplayer doesn't even have any players on the game which dissapoint me alot.
Summary: If you are reading this review, you are probably on the fence about buying Far Cry 2. I will only tell you one thing: I love this game! I have always been a fan of games with map editors, and that is why I initially picked up this game. But after a few hours of playing, I realized what a great storyline and gameplay it had. The campaign/story mode takes days to complete with many side missions and items to unlock and I always have a great time playing.
Summary: If your looking for a game that with last you hours for a low cost this is for you. Environment graphics are pretty good makes it fun driving around in free roam. The main plot is pretty whack I'll give it that, but the game play is not bad after you give it a try it gets pretty fun making you no regret getting the game. Huge map tons of guns tons of action more than half the time your being chased downed by attackers so your never bored.
Summary: I like the game very much the game play is great story is great. I seem to have had this game but my uncle actually gave me the wrong dvd with the serial on it he then sent me the game afterwords but by then I had no interest in the game anymore i did decide to purchase the game and now I see that I was mising out well im happy with it and if anyone out there never played it give it a shot you wil be happy
Summary: This is a really really well made game. Its requirement for hard-drive space makes a lot of sense due to the game's enormous open-world environment, thus limiting the load times down to only save/load points. Its visually appealing, with very detailed use of shadows, sounds, and daytime/night-time progressions.
Summary: October 21, 2008 - After spending somewhere around 25 hours getting through Far Cry 2's single-player campaign, there was one question I couldn't quite answer: why is this game called Far Cry? The sequel, developed by Ubisoft Montreal, retains nearly nothing from Crytek's 2004 original or from the Xbox and Xbox 360's Instincts and Predator derivations.
Summary: In Far Cry 2's chaotic world of mercenaries, gunrunners, and armed militias, you'll find yourself dropped into a dizzying web of shady clients and paper-thin alliances. All manner of names and faces are introduced during the course of the storyline, but the real star isn't anyone brandishing a smuggled weapon in search of blood diamonds; it's the daunting and awe-inspiring 50-square kilometers of African landscape that make up the game's open-world setting.
Summary: First saw this game on the video game channel and was immediately pulled in by the realnesss of the graphics. Gameplay is pretty awesome, and the story mode kinda changes depending on what you do inside the game is also a big plus. Wasnt too much of a first person shooter game player initially, but this title has changed all of that!
Summary: Let me start off with that Far Cry 2 is one of the prettiest games I've seen, and it also has a easy to learn map editor to keep you hooked. The gunplay is repetitive, and weird feeling, the A.I. sometimes just sit in one place and stare into the distance, they also can see you easily and makes sneaking near impossible, but it is pretty hard to see them. The jamming animations are awesome, but jamming gets to be a nuisance.
Summary: If you like games where you decide where to go and what to do, you will like this one for sure. There are many different aspects of this game in which I enjoyed. Fist of all the graphics are pretty awesome. Combine the good graphics with the realistic environments and you have quite the visually appealing game. When it comes to the game play, they really pulled it off. The storyline will keep you interested while you roam the very large map provided.
