Summary: far cry 2 is a decent game with average graphics, and good sound and gameplay. At first, the game is super fun, but at least 3 hours into the game, it starts to get boring because of repetitive driving and the same missions. You also have to run in baddies every 2 minutes while having to worry about ammo and health. The realistic concept of the game is good but overall, it was an okay game.
Summary: I have had this game for over a year now and I barely play it anymore. The gameplay and graphics are good but the missions are long, hard, frustrating and only consist of shooting bad guys in a desert. The only cool things about this game is the open world environment and the weapon selection. Seriously just save up a few more bucks and buy Farcry 3 I haven't played it yet but its supposedly the experience of a lifetime.
Summary: I had always heard fantastic things about the first Far Cry from a friend, and honestly wanted to try it. However, you may have noticed I'm not much of a PC player. So, I just had to wait for a sequel. Well, here I was: 2007. The trailer for Far Cry 2 came up on the E3 stage screen. I was nine years old. The sense of war, tensions rising, and complete and utter chaos in the savanna of Africa flooded my pre-adolescent brain.
Summary: ---Gameplay--- FarCry 2 is a first-person-shooter and sandbox game. The single-player is very long but very repetitive. Most missions will ask you to travel a long-way to kill a group of guys. Throughout the entire game, almost everyone is trying to kill you for NO REASON! You show up, they shoot you; you run away, they find you!
Summary: Far cry 2 is a game where no matter how hard you try to follow the paths to your missions they always throw something at you to make you go the wrong way. Say you're speeding down the small dirt roads, that traverse the huge landscape, trying to go to an objective 1000m away you may encounter 5 outposts and 8 roving machine gun manned cars. The health in the game is horrible it is too easy to gain it and you hardly ever die unless from malaria.
Summary: I have been wanting this game for couple of months before I got it for Christmas and I was so excited about it when I finally started playing it. When I started playing it the first thing that amazed was the graphics in the game but that is about it. The story line is stupid and uninteresting and there is nothing in it that keeps you excited about what is going to happen next, there are only 2 things in the storyline that sticks to the main point of it.
Summary: Such beautiful scenery, along with an unprecedented freedom to follow the story as you choose fit, mark this as different from the average FPS. The biggest dissappointment is the very poor character development. Some of the gameplay is also annoying- the amount of driving is a bit boggling...... Also- just how many enemies are in the enemy camps- seems like they are reproducing at a startling speed.
Summary: Far Cry2 is a game that is really impressive at first glance, but then proceeds to bore you to the point of wishing you had never bought the game at all. What I mean is that while you will have a great time playing Far Cry 2 for the first couple hours after that things become incredibly boring and repetitive. The storyline is just awful. The graphics in the game are quite nice and the controls are decent ( yet unresponsive at times ).
Excerpt: "After playing the first Far cry, I would of thought Far Cry 2 would be one of the best games money can buy. The first Far Cry was outstanding, a game which I really enjoyed and was very addictive to play. When I found out there was going to be a second instalment, I was all hyped up, especially after seeing some gameplay trailers. But that's what trailers are made for. But on this occasion, the trailer was completely different to the actual game, ...
Pros: massive landscape to play on with great graphics .
