Summary: Because I purchased Far Cry 3 when it came out having not played the second one, I decided this needed to be done before I play through the new one. The game had a couple pros but may cons. Let's just get started.
Summary: The graphics are beautiful, but that alone can't compensate all the flaws this game has. The missions are boring and repetitive, you'll spend an awful lot of time driving around to reach your goal which is also boring.
Summary: WARNING: Tedium ahead. The first iteration of Far Cry was, while not necessarily perfect, a solid first person shooter. It's big, beautiful world let you approach the varied missions using a variety of tactics making it challenging and giving a sense of achievement.
Summary: After playing Farcry 3 this game is a let down. The controls are not as easy as Farcry 3 and I found it much harder to use. I know it's older than 3, but I didn't expect it to be so different. The aiming is also bad and by the time I had managed to position the pointer I had been shot.
