Summary: When I played the first Farcry game on Xbox I couldn't believe what I just played. But when playing this I can tell where turning the other cheek. The story doesn't make much sense and the game has many broken weapons making it hard to kill enemies. Though the graphics and gameplay are good but when it came to beating the game it didn't had much enjoyment like the first one did. The multiplayer doesn't even have any players on the game which dissapoint me alot.

Summary: Because I purchased Far Cry 3 when it came out having not played the second one, I decided this needed to be done before I play through the new one. The game had a couple pros but may cons. Let's just get started. Story .5 : The story is almost non-existent as you are a man placed in between a rival war in Africa between two factions. You are placed there to kill a gun runner called the Jackal. As for the story, that is about it.
Summary: I had always heard fantastic things about the first Far Cry from a friend, and honestly wanted to try it. However, you may have noticed I'm not much of a PC player. So, I just had to wait for a sequel. Well, here I was: 2007. The trailer for Far Cry 2 came up on the E3 stage screen. I was nine years old. The sense of war, tensions rising, and complete and utter chaos in the savanna of Africa flooded my pre-adolescent brain.
Summary: When I played Far Cry 1. I was so hooked on the fact that it was a shooter and you were going around the island and there was partial open world freedom from back tracking and the strategy in killing your opponents. I was so interested when I heard that Far Cry 2 came out along with it's near realistic situations where guns Jam on you and vehicles need constant repair and healing yourself is taking a bullet out of your body when your in critical condition.
Summary: In short: there are more fun, more exciting FPS games to play. This game is boring and monotonous. There are no two ways about it. The story is boring. The game play is shallow and stays the same the entire game. Yeah it offers you freedom. Let me ask you. Does it sound awesome to get lost in a hot dessert with no water? You have to the FREEDOM go anywhere and do anything. Freedom does NOT equal fun and this game is proof of that.
Summary: If you are reading this review, you are probably on the fence about buying Far Cry 2. I will only tell you one thing: I love this game! I have always been a fan of games with map editors, and that is why I initially picked up this game. But after a few hours of playing, I realized what a great storyline and gameplay it had. The campaign/story mode takes days to complete with many side missions and items to unlock and I always have a great time playing.
