Summary: CONS: Don't get me wrong, I love the fallout games but new vegas was so buggy. Fallout 3 had issues sure but after their goty edition, most bugs removed. This games goty edition still massive in bug department. PROS: lots of content, massive world.
Summary: I played through the original version of this game a few times, and it's sad to say that the reviews are right-- the ultimate edition IS even glitchier on the PS3. I actually bought this for the DLC, and for the most part, I am happy with the decision, though I found "Dead Money" to be of frustrating piece of crap.
Summary: Great open world game. There are lots of missions to keep you busy and I really enjoy the variety of weapons. There are still times when the game experiences slow down and missions sometimes get stuck without the proper triggers which can be frustrating if you don't know where they are. The DLC missions have been hit and miss so far. I would recommend this to anyone who likes open world games.
Summary: Once your save file reaches 7000K or above you will start experiencing severe lag and freezes almost every hour or even sooner if you transition into different areas 5 or more times. Less than 3 if those areas are highly populated. Make sure your auto saves are turned off and you keep a low inventory and no companions helps stave off the lag. If it starts to lag slightly just hold still and don't touch the controller until all the frames finish loading.
Summary: This is an amazing game which I loved whole heatedly, however I'm hesitant to finish it or play any of the DLC that comes on the ultimate edition. Why is that? Because I can't play the damn thing for more than a hour at a time. The game freezes up whenever I do. I've tried numerous things, deleting other games, all data, freeing up memory however I could but its made no difference, and I'm using a new PS3.
Summary: I played FO3 over and over again and was very excited to see FO#: New Vegas. There are very amazing things about New Vegas and some very disappointing things as well. Good: - great open world/sandbox - upgradeable weapons (++) - multiple companions - many missions & quests - awesome world display - various ammo for weapons (standard, hollow point, etc.
Summary: Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition Having played both Fallout 3 and this game I can say I prefer Fallout 3. The story for New Vegas is interesting, but the story in Fallout 3 was equally as interesting and more epic as well. Also, I feel the Capital Wasteland was a lot better setting than the Mojave Wasteland and the characters were certainly more interesting. The one thing that Fallout: NV has over Fallout 3 is the call backs to Fallout 1 and Fallout 2.
