Summary: Great game overall, basically Fallout 3 with a new skin, but it works... When it's not freezing up on you repeatedly. Minus one star for the glitches/bugs, something this franchise is notorious for on consoles. Also lacks a little of the atmosphere and ingenuity of Fallout 3, though there is still just as much, if not more, to do as you explore the dilapidated deserts and remains of the post-apocalyptic Southwest.
Summary: I gave this gave this game three stars because game wise it is absolutely amazing! Lots of stories, guns and thing to do. However, after about 20 hours or so of game play this engines of the game start to have a really hard time keeping it all together. Constant freezing forcing you to restart will begin happening and sometimes happen every five minutes rendering the game nearly unplayable. Even though this is the Ultimate Edition it still has lots of bugs.
Summary: I'm still playing and so far it's good. I love how the story is progressing and I love the new features that Fallout 3 lacked to give it a more "survival-like" feel. HOWEVER! Be warned this game crashes and it lags like hell. I can't tell you how many times it has pissed me off after doing a huge ambush and then it crashes shortly after. The most it has crashed has been 4 times in a day CONSECUTIVELY!
Summary: This game is broken for the PS3 and will never be fixed. The developers walked away from it and left their customers out in the cold just like they did with almost all of their other open world games. (Skyrim, Fallout 3). I had to throw out my saved games and restart Skyrim from scratch twice to get it to work, and it still has major glitches. It should be illegal, they should be held accountable, and we should be able to get our money back. It's not right.
Summary: Something about the storyline in this game just did not speak to me. The game itself is good and plays just like Fallout 3 but it falls short of the Masterpiece that is Fallout 3 and leaves you wanting more.
