Fallout 3

  • Excerpt: The original Fallout game is definitely in the top 50 of all great video games which was developed by Interplay as an isometric adventure game set in post apocalyptic America which was ravaged by nuclear war. The best way to describe the original engine of Fallout was that it was similar to Diablo, however science fiction based.

  • Excerpt: Fallout 3 was my game of the year back in 2008, so the obviously titled rerelease rings true for this reviewer. Packaging all five pieces of downloadable content into one product gives players a reason to take the double dip if they missed out on those episodes during their initial run. While these pieces of DLC range in quality, no one can deny that they add a great deal to an already meaty package.

Fallout 3

Playstation Illustrated
8 June 2009
  • Excerpt: 10 years. That is how long it has been since the last time anyone got to leave a certified Vaultec Vault. Going out into the wasteland for the first time is an unbelievable experience and truly indescribable. Many people have been worried about whether the franchise can still hold any weight or meaning after so long. Bethesda promised an amazing game when they announced that they were taking the license from Interplay and it is.

Fallout 3

Hardcore Gamer
24 December 2008
  • Summary: While gamers were spending hours upon hours exploring Oblivion , Bethesda was hard at work creating a game just as massive. The third title in the critically acclaimed Fallout series, Fallout 3 is further proof that Bethesda means business when it comes to creating deep games. It’s finally a game that post-apocalyptic fans can call their own.
