Summary: This game takes no skill, is pretty repetitive, and has boring gameplay and story. But it's cheap and supports 4 players. It's an alright game to get if you and your buddies are looking for something mindless to play and watch cartoon blood splatter everywhere. The platforming controls are really loose. My sister and I have fun with this game, but it's not high quality.
Summary: Terrible game. Lame story line. Very simple and repetitive gameplay. But if you're looking for a game that provides simple psychotic fun for 2 people, this game is for you. My wife and I enjoy playing it together at the end of the day when neither of our brains have energy to do much else. Also, you can skate on puddles of blood and thats probably the best part of the game. Oh, and the traps you have to navigate through are frustratingly stupid and impossible.
Summary: The premise is funny, but the game play didn't live up to the white room demo they offered a while back. The controls are a bit sketchy at time. The 3d-like map is difficult to move through and painful to watch on the screen - after 20 minutes, half the room was motion sick. Even though it was very low priced, it's still disappointing because the demo was so much fun. I'd pay to have the demo back instead of the game.
Much better as multiplayer, can be quite boring either way

Summary: I was attracted to this game due to my dark sense of humor and love for fairy tales. I also enjoy a good hack and slash. This game satisfies in these two areas, but does leave something to be desired in other areas. 1. The combat is not very diverse. This is no Devil May Cry. There are only basic moves, and automatic combo/super moves, categorized by weapon. For some people, this is an issue. 2. The unskippable platforming sections are very poorly done.
Summary: I'm not a great gamer typically. I grew up in the 70s/80s when gaming to us was Pac-Man, Missle Defender and a variety of other tedious Atari games. (Yes, we even had a Magnavox Odyssey at one point and we LOVED it.) My kids want us to be better gamers. I've gotten through Heavy Rain, which amazed me, and am working my way through Red Dead Redemption though the mountain lions drove me nuts for a while. Again, aiming is just something I struggle to master.
Summary: I bought this game because of the original premise. But what could've been a great, quirky title became a repetitive, hollow experience. Take classic fairytale celebs, like Little Red Riding Hood, Jack [from jack and bean stalk], a naked king or something and Snow White and you end up with a unique cast of characters that all feel and operate the same and have nothing to distinquish one from the other. WHY!?
Summary: I liked the idea of this game, having snow white and jack going around butchering people. It's clever though disturbing. This game, like many others, ain't worth 60 bucks. I got it for 20. Anyway, the game is simple and easy to play. You pick someone to get weapons and hack their way through the levels. Right now i'm getting kind of bored going through a big gingerbread castle/house chopping up gingerbread men.
Summary: This game is a lot of fun and there is a lot of creativity that went in to the design of most of the levels. A downside to Fairytale Fights is that it gets a bit redundant. It would have also been nice to have save points throughout the level rather than having to finish the whole thing at once.
