Summary: I bought this game, because I just recently became a fan of F1. I like racing games and I feel that this is a good representation of F1. This can be a time consumindy game if you choose the career path. However, if you are looking for a race game to just race and not looking for a career racing game, then you will also like this game. It isn't necessary to invest a substantial amount of time to enjoy this game.
Summary: I ordered this the past weekend and was happy it showed up on time, but when I opened up the mail package, not only did I hear the disc rolling around in the case, when I flipped it over--it was in SPANISH! On the back side of the shrinkwrap was a giant white sticker basically describing that it was an IMPORTED MEXICAN VERSION of the game. NOWHERE in the seller's description did it say this, it only said "New". You can pull it up and see for yourself.
Summary: I bought 2012 after having played 2011. 2011 was the first true Formula game I ever played as I came over from the Grand Turismo series. I had so much fun with 2011 I bought 2012. For some reason I just didn't have as much fun with 2012. For one, I noticed minor stuttering when racing. Its hardly noticeable, but enough of it is there for the eye to pick up on. 2011 didn't have these, 'micro', stutters.
Summary: Very accurate and challenging. This is a game for the F1 fan not your casual racing gamer. You have to take the time to learn the tracks and push every turn. I would highly recommend this game for racing fans it will keep you busy for a very long time. My only complaint would be the frame rate which dips at times.
Summary: Excellent game. Improved from the 2011. Beautiful graphics and controlling is much more realistic; I use the PS3 console. Will need to check if it can be switched to the "buttons" control vs. the thumb stick. I prefer the "buttons" steering.
Summary: A beautiful looking game with some great visuals and wonderful physics. This is a game for serious racers only (unless you are actually going to buy a F1 game and leave all the helps on) as the qualifying and tuning required at higher difficulties makes the game difficult to just pick-up and play. You pick it up and devote the next several hours to getting the car right and hoping you don't ruin all your hard work crashing in the race. So very much like the real thing.
Summary: I ordered this game and bought F1: 2013 from Gamestop. F1: 2013 took almost exactly 25 minutes to install to my hard drive, I timed it. F1: 2013 took just over 14 minutes to update, install, and I was already starting my career. I have a 500gb Ps3. First Thoughts: The game came in a small bubble wrap manila envelope, with a receipt for the fulfillment of my order. It came on the day that it was expected to arrive.
