Summary: Mmm, where to start, I put the 2010 version of this game in the PS3 last Christmas, and sat in awe at the fabulous realistic graphics, and have enjoyed playing for the last 12 months despite it's flaws, this Christmas I was eagerly awaiting the new version with the addition of the safety car and was devastated when I put it in the console. The graphics are not good!
Summary: Compared to F1 2010, the graphics on this are really, really, poor. One of the benefits of 2011 over 2010 is the introduction of split-screen 2-player mode. Now when my son has his friends around, they can jointly play in an informal/arcade style. BUT, as stated at the beginning, the quality of the rendering is truly awful in this mode. I had to put in Gran Turismo 5 to check I wasn't being too picky - and the difference is High-Def vs Standard Def, and then some...
Summary: Lets get the facts correct I've been playing F1 games for donkeys years they've progressively got better and better F1 2010 was brilliant and still is. The graphics on F1 2011 are terrible just do a google search and read the threads it's all true. A patch is supposed to be coming but this won't solve the problems for the PS3. Good points are the Kers and DRS which really work well and 2 new tracks.
Summary: Was highly anticipating the release of this game. No lie the trailers looked amazing... the game however is a different story. The graphics are so poor you do think that you are playing on PS2. I feel like the game released is a mock up of what was meant to be released. I think code masters should be ashamed of themselves for releasing a game of this quality considering they are capable of making game such as dirt3. This game is appalling...
Summary: After playing 2010 for so long I was absolutely thrilled when 2011 came out. How very Dissapointed I was. The graphics are absolutely terrible, so bad in fact that I actually struggle to see the corners I am turning into. It is very easy compared to 2010 and is not as real. The new online system and safety car feature is great, but the graphics really do let it down. I have played this game about 3 times and I wont be playing it again.
Summary: Whilst there are a number of improvements in the second iteration of this title, there are also some deep rooted problems that gradually reveal themselves as you delve further into the game. If you need to get a feel for the consensus amongst owners of the PS3 version of the game you need only pay a visit to the official forum for the game. In particular there are big issues with frame rate and graphical performance. However what concern me more are the flaws in the AI.
Summary: I don't understand how this game could be released in the condition it was. Gamers count on footage they see on previews. This is nothing like footage seen on previews, so codemasters can't be trusted now. Simple as that. A quick buck to fool customers out of their money.. it's not gonna help them when or if the 2012 version comes out. Very disapointed. F1 2010 is a brilliant game, although I was slightly disapointed with the graphics back then to what I had expected...
