Summary: I'm still trying to find a reason why this game was actually released for PS Vita. And I'm still trying to understand what makes it different from F1 2009, released for the PSP. The reason why I'm so frustrated? Controls, gameplay and again controls. Hey, we have 2012, right? The PS Vita now has three-axis gyroscope and a three-axis accelerometer, right? Do they know about it at Codemasters at all?
Summary: I bought the game hoping that it would be a perfect match for a next generation console like the Vita, boy I was wrong! The graphics are mediocre at best, some tracks look better than others but overall they are grainy and pixelated with no or little detail. The gameplay surprisingly is not bad but it's such a let down because of the graphics, it's as if you had installed a cassette player on your brand new Lamborghini.
Summary: The graphics and the frame rate on the PS3 version are BAD--much worse than the 360 version. The frame rate clearly drops to 20fps or possibly less at points, and the entire game runs at barely 30fps, if that. The official forums are full of angry PS3 users, with many saying that the game gives them eye fatigue and/or headaches.
2011 2ND HAND WASTE OF MONEY WITH NO CODES BUY 2010
14 January 2013
Summary: HI DON'T BUY 2011 2ND HAND AS CHANCES ARE SOMEONE ALREADY USED UP YOUR CODES SO YOU WONT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ONLINE AND I COULD NOT FIND THE CODES ON THE PS3 SITE. I JUST TAKEN MINE BACK AND GOT 2010 FREE ONLINE NO CODES NEEDED AND YOU CAN PICK IT UP FOR A FIVER SOME REVIEWS SAY THE GRAPHICS ON 2010 ARE BETTER THAN 2011 2011 AND 2012 ARE ALMOST THE SAME GAME ANYWAY WOULD NOT SUPRISE ME IF YOU NEED CODES FOR 2012 SO I WOULD ALSO CHECK THAT 2011 AND 2012 LOOK LIKE THEY...
Summary: This title requires a VIP Pass which you should expect to not work if ordering the game used. Thanks to THQ for producing an otherwise good racing game with such a broken feature of not having multi player races without that so called VIP code. Buy the F1 2010 if you want to do multiplayer on multiple PS3 without paying 10$ every time.
Summary: After putting in 100 plus hours on f1 2010 I was expecting big things from this game (1st game I've bought on launch day for 2years) but its a disappointment the handling is shocking (compared to 2010) the most shocking points are..... No in game save option do game developers think we can sit there for an hour and a half without something coming up in your life?
Conclusion: the 1st thing i noticed when i brought this game was the back of the box which read. the best racing sim in the business. ITS NOT. graphics are average for a start but that does not bother me as im more into gameplay. im on my 3rd season doing 50% races and im already bored of it. the AI are idiots mainly back markers. the pit crew are useless in wet conditions its like they have gone to sleep.
Conclusion: I dont understand all the five star reviews on here! This game is one of the most bug infested flawed racing games Ive ever played, the handling is very arcadey in comparison to F1 2010 however that is not the main problem... The graphics and would not look out of place on the ps2 and the framerate would not look out of place on the ps1, at 15fps as opposed to the 60fps on GT5 its very, very poor.
Conclusion: Liked F1 2010 so was hoping to find an improved game on F1 2011, completely wrong, bad surprise that I had to restart game maybe something wrong happen (I thought), unfortunately this game is inferior to F1 2010, a bad work. Shame we still see money talking and gamers falling in traps like this one.
