It's a good survival horror FPS for casual gamers.

Summary: This is a solid FPS title. The graphics are an improvement over its predecessor and the gameplay is smooth. I wasn't particularly enraptured by the story, but that's secondary. Just being in creepy places taking out various bad guys is what its all about, and Fear 2 certainly delivers.
Tense action and great scares help F.E.A.R 2 stand out from the rest

Summary: F.E.A.R. 2 is an exceptionally solid, atmospheric shooter that delivers real top notch action as well as some surprisingly genuine scares. There is a very convoluted story here that you may never quite grasp, but in the midst of this is a very good single-player campaign that lasts upwards of 10 hours and remains incredibly tense and thrilling from start to finish. The F.E.A.R.
Summary: I have always shied away from horror games, not because I'm a wuss or anything, I just don't like being on edge all the time. I was very dubious about picking this up as it's predecessor has one hell of a reputation for being scary. Thankfully while the game is still very creepy and there are a few "WTF!" moments sprinkled here and there, the ride was still a ton of fun.
Summary: This game is excellent, bar none. The audio in the game make it feel like you are playing out a movie - you really need SOMETHING to truly showcase this! I was waiting for the rest of my home theater to arrive from Amazon, and had the following: Sony STRDH820 7.2 Receiver (1) BIC FH-65 Bookshelf speaker The sound from just one speaker was breathtaking. It made every graphic instance, combat scenario, and simply going through the levels THAT much more intense!
Summary: When F2 first came out years ago, I tried a demo but didn't like it because the environment was extremely dark and didn't display well at all on my old TV. Now that I have a modern TV set, I decided to give this game another try, and I am very glad that I did. This shooter is crafted extremely well in terms of environments and level design. The maps are super detailed and the lighting effects really creeped me out in several areas.
Summary: Fear 2: Project Origin is a follow up to the successful PlayStation 3 game fear that was an early release for the console at the time. Fear 2 continues on just after the first game and you have been sent to get answers and find out just exactly whats going on with Alma. Throughout the game you will go through a school, hospital and the outside world all in pursuit of Alma. Picking up varying weapons along the way.
Summary: The good: Great shootouts, weapons, and gore. Some really freaky moments. An ending that will surprise you. Good length for an FPS game. The bad: Online play isn't up to par. Not as scary as the first one. Graphics may seem a little dated in places.
