A few jump scares on occasion dont mean horror.

Summary: I was told the game fails at horror so no surprise. I hate silent protagonists especially this guy. Its amazing how he shows ZERO emotion through this whole ordeal. Its mindboggling how the developers got away with this dummy. The story is engaging which keeps me coming back to play it. Alma is the core interest. I actually like the gun battles.
Summary: Not as good as the first one. Without spoiling anything I'll just say that it's a bit more "Hollywood," that it has less good of gameplay, and that they changed some weapons for the worse. The supernatural stuff is a bit too overt. What I mean by that is the original kind of has you hallucinate, whereas this one kind of shows you too much with too much context. Not shady memories and someone else's flashbacks but scenes that seem to try too hard.
Summary: Meh...supposed to be survival horror but not really scary. That disappointed me. It's fun to play through once, after that I'm sure It would be boring. Um...it's just a mediocre game overall, nothing worthy of praise to be found.
Summary: I have not played the first FEAR, but overall the game is pretty good. - Graphics are amazing on the PS3 - Storyline is interesting - Voice overs match the character - Gameplay is smooth, transitions well from one level to the next
Summary: This game really tricks your mind at some points. My favorite scariest part of the game so far is the elementary school...when you're walking down the hall way and things start flying around and it becomes a poltergeist infested hell hole and I was almost too fearful to go through with it! I love it's style and I would recommend this to people who love survival horror and haven't played this yet.
Summary: One of the better horror games of the last few years, and maybe with a couple exceptions, the only real scary game since Doom came out. As of this date, there is not much going online in Fear 2. There is a single player map pack expansion I purchased at PS Store. I seem to go back to the oldies especially for single player horror because there are not many good ones out there these days.
