Unique yet flawed platformer

w r e c k l e s s, Amazon
1 May 2014
  • Summary: The crime with the "Epic Mickey" games is that it's a cool idea. You get to control Mickey Mouse and wield a magical paintbrush that's able to paint in sections of the cartoonish levels or thin them out. It's fun experimenting with how the mechanic works. Painting and thinning everything around you, trying to find all the secret paths and collectibles, or just plain wanting to see what happens as you mess with the world keeps you interested.

Good Game

  • Summary: The game came in brand new and in great time. I love Disney and the ideal of this game was great but not really action pack and kind of drawn out.

a little "busy" and loud

Goldie, Amazon
20 February 2014
  • Summary: This game is one of those newfangled toys that makes way too much noise, shakes way too often, and is filled with mindless whapping instead of any problem solving whatsoever. Sure, everyone loves Mickey, but if I had epilepsy I'm pretty sure the wackadoo lights and graphics combined with BOOM BOOM THWACK noises would push me over the threshold.

Camera is the only complaint

Mayito, Amazon
18 July 2013
  • Summary: My son likes it, but I notice he gets frustrated by how the camera works most of the times. If he gets use to it easily would get 4 stars.

The Downfalls of Two...

Avid Amazonian, Amazon
15 January 2013
  • Summary: When Epic Mickey was released on the Wii, I cried a little… A game about classic Disney literature, games and movies all tied with a neat little bow, aka beautiful graphics and a timeless appeal of faithful recreations(does that level look like the original NES game?!??) and hidden aspects for those of us that truly love Disney (including hidden Mickeys) and know all the little references that no one else does… but I didn’t own a Wii.

A pretty game but not enough in there for a full price purchase

  • Excerpt: Disney Epic Mickey 2: The power of two was a game that was much hyped and eagerly anticipated. Despite the fact that it is often difficult for much hyped products to live up our eager expectations, this game fell well short of my own expectations. The most positive aspect is the visuals. The graphics on this game are bright and enticing and friends seeing the gameplay initially may believe this to be a great game.

OK game

RW, amazon.co.uk
9 May 2013
  • Summary: Game was delivered very quickly, it was second hand and did smell of smoke which is unpleasant for a child's game. The game itself was ok not brilliant.
