Too religious of a game?
Cool Spot, Amazon
6 December 2015
Summary: Short review: The art style is unique enough, but I just couldn't get past the bland, repetitive combat, and the holier than thou storyline. I'm not religious in the slightest and felt like this was over the top.
Summary: ...that it's a shame I actually have to play it. Ascension of the Metatron has some of the best art design and concept I have seen in a video game. The environments are positively gorgeous. The story concept is heady fare.
Summary: As the credits rolled by at the end of the game, something passed by that made sense. Copywrite 2006. El Shaddai was a game that was made at the end of the PS2 cycle in Japan and rereleased five years later in the US for the PS3. And here I am two years after that release playing it. Ha, ha.
Summary: I just bought this game today (not from Amazon, though. A used copy costs the same here in town as it does on Amazon, so I figured I might as well get it locally.) and, so far, I'm really enjoying it.
