"Never forget the pride of being an EDF soldier"

Summary: When I bought a used copy of this game for ten bucks at a game shop a year or two back, I'll never forget the puzzled look on the attendants face. "Well, why not give it a try" he had to remain positive, but I could tell he had no clue why I wanted it. Earth Defense Force is beautiful in that it knows it's not a AAA quality game, and embraces a cheeky, B-movieish vibe, without trying to mask it with a complex story or some overambitious gameplay element.
Summary: I love this game. I didn't know what to expect when i got this game. I saw it on the shelf and it looked cool so i gave it a shot. Man was i surprised. I really enjoyed the gameplay and all the weapons you can unlock. This game also has what most games today lack, splitscreen and replay value. My brother and I played this game for hours on end. This game is made for coop but can still be enjoyed by itself.
Summary: My 11-year-old son is very much into insects. So, when we found this game, we knew we had to get. He couldn't wait for it to come in and when it did, he played it constantly! The levels were challenging, interesting, and the graphics were good. Very pleased customer.
Summary: This game is a bunch of fun. Lots of bugs and neat upgrades makes things interesting. The graphics are not top-notch, but they are good for this game. Game runs smooth. No problems with controls or graphics. Basically, Earth is being invaded by enemies and they've turned bugs into giant monsters. There are also huge robots to fight. The game is broken into 3 chapters of 5 missions each.
Summary: awesome game BUT WAIT, edf 2017 is a lot better in some ways. this game has only a fraction of the levels. about 13, which suck because if your like me and want the big guns, then your going to have to mole through hours and hours and hours of the same levels to level up you character to get them, and thats if you can afford them.
Summary: Fans of the old Earth Defense Force game for the Xbox 360 might like this game. Granted it doesn't take place in Tokyo and soldiers aren't dressed up like power rangers anymore, but the gamemplay and cheesy dialog are still there. This game features a 4 player online cooperative game mode and a 2 player offline split screen game mode and sports a new character class and level-up system.
Summary: This is a very.....unique game. It has a short campaign that has you going from one point to another to another to another and to another. it has 3 chapters and 5 missions per chapter clocking in at about 3-5 hours to complete it with 3 levels of difficulty: normal hard and inferno. there are over 300 guns that are split up into seven common types of guns: assault rifles, rocket launchers, missile launchers, grenade launchers, shotguns and sniper rifles.
