Summary: This was my first game in the EDF series to play and while I do feel that 2025 has this one beat, Insect Armageddon gave me countless hours of enjoyment. In all honesty, when I purchased this game I did not have very high expectations for it but D3 really surprised me and I think I will be an EDF fan for the long haul. If you have not tried an EDF game I would say start with 2025 but if you like it then give this one a go as it is still lots of fun.
Summary: love this franchise. this game is actually pretty hard on the higher setting. still great graphics and still fun but be prepared to die often and restart from beginning of each chapter. if it had a quick save and continue, would had given it 5 stars. over all though i like the game and price.
Summary: When I bought a used copy of this game for ten bucks at a game shop a year or two back, I'll never forget the puzzled look on the attendants face. "Well, why not give it a try" he had to remain positive, but I could tell he had no clue why I wanted it. Earth Defense Force is beautiful in that it knows it's not a AAA quality game, and embraces a cheeky, B-movieish vibe, without trying to mask it with a complex story or some overambitious gameplay element.
Summary: Title is great but game sucks so bad. Don't play this even in prison. It's boring with ugly graphic. It's so bad that some people might like it. I am pretty sure some hipster dude is bashing me for only liking COD.
Summary: awesome game BUT WAIT, edf 2017 is a lot better in some ways. this game has only a fraction of the levels. about 13, which suck because if your like me and want the big guns, then your going to have to mole through hours and hours and hours of the same levels to level up you character to get them, and thats if you can afford them.
Summary: I've played this some with my son. Too few games bother to allow couch co-op. Even a mediocre game can have some fun moments if you are sharing it with your kids! Blast bugs. Run around. Cooperate. Good times...
