Obviously not for everyone
27 June 2012
Summary: This game is pretty much a normal Dynasty Warriors game except for it being based on an anime and having giant robots. Like the title says this isn't a game for everyone in general its a game for fans of Dynasty Warriors, Gundam, or both. The gameplay is simplistic and is easy to pickup and play. The number of mobile suits is large but the voice acting for the characters are a little hit and miss.
Summary: Ok first this game is just for the fans. if you like dynasty warriors gundam hack and slash or just need something to kill time buy it. the next thing is that there is no one online so make sure you know someone if your going trophy hunting or want to play online. this game is hours of fun from making gundams building and unlocking them to leveling your characters.
Summary: In all honesty I never really enjoyed the Dynasty Warriors games but when the first DW: Gundam came out I was totally thrilled, the second installment captivated me for hours when i first got my hands on it. I played this game on the Xbox 360 for a while until the system died AS I WAS PLAYING, so after some saving I switched to the PS3. This version is outstanding! The visuals are phenomenal and the gameplay is smooth, far superior to the 360 version.
Summary: I've never written a review about anything before so bare with me... This game is pretty much like any other Dynasty Warriors game: You select a character, run around on a battle field, mash some buttons to create combos, and while in the process kill hundreds of low ranking "soldiers" while fighting the odd captain or two. If you like Dynasty Warriors, then yes, you will like this. If you hate other Dynasty Warriors games, then no, you won't like this.
Summary: I have a friend who is a big Gundam fan and plays this game all the time. While not the biggest Gundam fan myself I was intrigued enough to give the game a try. I like the graphics and the action is pretty good as are the sound effects. The voice acting can be really bad but at least fits the character of the anime. There's a ton of content here. Official mode, Story mode, lots of pilots and scores of Gundams to build and upgrade.
Summary: it's more difficult than the first one but i personally liked it more than the first one because there's lot more gundams then the previous one obviously especially from Gundam Seed series so if you want to have fun time
Summary: I bought this game because I liked the first one and wanted to see if this had anything better to offer... and it does but at sacrificing other things from the first ie the made for the game story mode. The original mode is lacking the array of characters you once had as well. Bu they did add a unique story system that brought in a element that the gundam series always had, friend/allies and enemies.
Summary: For all those who just like to press buttons when it comes to fighting games, the dynasty warrior franchise has the market cornered on this section. I have always have problems either doing the proper sequence or timing when it comes to fighting games with combos of buttons or direction pad, thus happy to play this type of Gundam fighting games. Graphics are very good, along with the game play.
Summary: First off, I was looking forward to playing DW Gundam when this new version came out right when I was going to buy the original. So I did what a part time gamer would do, bought the newer one and checked it out. In the Dynasty series, after completing a level, you could enjoy a little cenematic of warlords boasting or partying in triumph, but not so much in this game.
